If I did not have software to check the volts when I got back down, and back up that fast, that panel would not have lasted much longer. The rules I learnt that day:Rule 1: It is not recommended to alter anything on a blistering hot Saturday midday, when you have to SIT on a metal roof, on top of a double storey house.Rule 2: Even less advisable to take a break on said hot day, in a air-conditioned room. (you have to go back up)Rule 3: And it is never ever advisable, to quench ones thirst, with one Castle Light whilst sitting in the air-conditioned room.
