Jen Schutte
We are a solar company in Noordhoek, Cape Town and have a client in Kempton Park, Gauteng who has an Axpert 5kVA 48V system installed on his premises, however, our team up there have been redeployed to an urgent job elsewhere...and we need to get this system properly configured and signed off by a suitably qualified solar installer who has the relevant experience with Axpert products, incl. Pylon or Lithium Ion battery banks. Could you please recommend someone in the Gauteng region that suits the above requirements and could assist us with the completion of this job. Look forward to a speedy response in this regard, Kind regards, Jenni Schutte Procurement and Planning Contact: (021) 789-0932

Chris Hobson
I am going to be in Zambia next week. Our Free State team is currently busy with a big install so it is all hands on deck.

Energy-Jason
Hi all. As an admin I remain transparent and neutral. However I feel an urge to protect our community and it's members. I believe mega solar is the new gwstore. I feel as if I am breaking my ethos to remain neutral. If this information helps anyone from burning their fingers , I would feel better about breaking it. Mega could be a new improved company and I will be more than willing to retract my statement. Sincerely. IF anyone else feels the urge to work for them, try and get some money upfront. Chris Hobson and anotherbrownbear 1
Jen Schutte
Hi Jason, Technology Syndicate Pty Ltd was liquidated in 2015, they owned the brand GW Store. Megasolar SA then purchased the web domain www.gwstore.co.za but is an entirely different company, with different directors. That said, technical sizing/quotes are still done by the staff of the old GW Store but thats about it. Regards Jen
___
I think what bothered me most is that the domain name for the company was registered (I see it is now hidden, updated September 2017) by someone with the same last name as the former owner of the gwstore franchise. This makes it look, at least on the surface, as if it is the same people under a different name. Which is not to cast aspersions on any particular person, just that the topic has come up before and there are massive levels of distrust by many on this forum. anotherbrownbear

So I popped over to the Megasolar web site and scrolled down to latest news where I found this; http://www.megasolarsa.com/nuclear-vs-renewable/ Huh is that not a blog by Jason Sole - the one and only who has nothing to do with Megasolar??? So if you rob a bank and then change your name, are you no longer a bank robber? anotherbrownbear
___
The information I have is that he's an employee and not the owner of the place. Weigh that up with the info about the registrant of the domain name if you will The LinkedIn profile of the registrant suggests they are at least team members at the resort. That much (that it's a family business) is apparent if you google around a bit :-)
