Eish Chelize, that pricing I do not feel is very good. Pricing on panels is dropping and one can buy a 555W Jinko panel for R2300 retail

I have a feeling you're going to have to take a knock and drop your pricing to sell those panels.

strange yes. as the general public is still struggling to get 545w panels for under R3200

Hmm, I think they need to take a better look at what some places are selling panels for as I paid around that price for my 620W panels and that comes at premium due to it being a higher wattage panel.

The prices of panels has started to drop recently, earlier in the year prices were higher on solar panels.

thank you. i havent googled/searched solar panel prices since March this year when i bought some. seems like the prices has dropped rapidly.

Taking into consideration that you will have to pay shipping costs and fees on the panels, not to mention the fact that you will need to have a registered company to register with Solarway Supply in order to get the panels as wholesale price, I don't think the pricing is that bad.

There are currently only 4 distributors of Canadian Solar in South Africa. I was scammed with false Canadian Solar panels before.

In order to prevent that I registered my company as a registered dealer with Solarway Supply and bought panels in bulk.

You can definitely buy these panels directly from Solarway yes, but unless you have the capacity in terms of transportation to go and pick up the panels yourself in JHB, your shipping costs per panel will amount to quite a bit more than the above selling price.

Also, yes there are cheaper panels out there like the ones mentioned above...but again...quality items in general are more expensive. More affordable solar panels will only cost you more money in the long run...there is a reason they a cheaper.

The price in the link is the retail price from Solarway Suppliers and not their wholesale price. I have personally bought from them before as a private person without any company registration with them. As for transport, if one doesn’t have access to a bakkie, there are plenty of guys standing with bakkies around every Builders and they are not that expensive.

But anyway, good luck with your sale! Sorry for derailing the thread.
