February 18, 20242 yr Hi All, Anyone got some recommendations on the next low watt, useable toaster? I usually use the toaster before the sun rises so I don’t want to use too much of City Power or my batteries. Don’t wanna use the Toaster, pool, washing machine, Geyser also at the same time. any ideas?

In order to have enough heat to toast the bread I think the only option would be a single slice toaster if one needs only 1 slice.

February 18, 20242 yr I suspect lower power toasters will be like low power geyser elements. They get the job done, but slowly. What they do offer is a lower peak draw, which is handy when one is current limited.
February 18, 20242 yr If you have gas stove, the gas toasters work really well. Unfortunately, I am between houses, so mine is in storage and I can't take a photo.
February 18, 20242 yr We don't make a lot of toast. May be even a pan on a gas stove? We make toasted cheese on the gas plate.
