It depends what protocol it talks. An advertisement says it's compatible with ~20 inverters, including Voltronic Power, and the Axpert MKS 4 is made by them:

Edit: You should check installation manuals to see which battery type you need, and decide how you are going to buy or make an appropriate cable, exactly where to plug it in at the battery end, and any required DIP switch settings. 

"When the batteries are connected to different brands of inverters, the BMS automatically recognises the inverter communication protocol and matches it." It sounds like you can even talk to it with more than one protocol. I've not heard of that before.
