October 21, 20196 yr Author So they have started today, redid two DBs and started stripping trunking and cables of the Solar install. DC combiner to find a new home somewhere near the bottom and then a lot of new trunking to be done.

Yeap, might take it up left and down in the middle again. I have also seen others take the DC behind the trunking. Not sure about regulations when they actually just cross and don't run further in the same trunking, this is apparently also done..

It is indeed a DC Combiner, it has copper busbars with cone type isolated supports, that screw into the box and bars. I will have to open it up to get you a clearer picture. June 8, 20206 yr Author I have been live now for a year and according to the data generated 4541kW (4.5 MW sounds better) . My consumption has gone down since the geyser was placed on a timer with the installation, but as you can see the grid usage percentage is low, which was part of the goal, but of course beating loadshedding was the priority
