Used batteries for sale

Featured Replies

Upgrading batteries to lithium . Batteries below for sale . All batteries are 4 years old and still in good working condition .  Used to 10 to15% DOD daily .

8 Royal 105 ah. @ R250 per battery.

4 Trojan T -105 225ah @ R500 per battery

If those batts could have arrived in Cpt I would have taken them all.

Would then test them all and if one falls far below the rest, then I would have negotiated the price for THAT battery at the lead price I could get locally.

But Gauteng to Cpt is a wee bit of an issue with that weight.

I guess you are after these, I can have them delivered to you in CapeTown for under R700 (For all 4 - 112kg). Let me know if I can assist.

Chris, is it possible to have them put onto a Hawkins Battery Tester, just to remove one that is borderline?

Because Jaco is right. I am after the T105's as I have one T105RE that is problematic and 24v Pylontech are not in SA yet.

Nor do I have any qualms mixing T105 with T105RE's this late in the game.

How it is done I'm not sure for I burnt my fingers sending unsealed lead acid batteries via Takealot aka MR Delivery.

Got the batteries back - eventually - with the acid all spilled out. So if it can be done, I'm interested, for <R700 I would be seriously interested.

I had Royals in their boxes shipped before (Not for me and not supplied by me). Arrived on their sides. Had many Trojans shipped before. Not in boxes. Always arrived correctly without issues. Guess if they can see its a battery they will load it correctly. Also the Trojan is heavy and dont just fall over.

My courier company is quite reliable and move plenty of big solar stuff for me. Never had a problem.. I am sure it can be done.

These batteries is still connected but can be tested on site . Hydrometer readings good .Hope somebody nearer needs them .

If you are as sure as you can be they are still ok, then I'm interested as Jaco can ship them.
