swazz99jhb
IMy weekend project. 5.5 kW Sunsynk + the Hubble AM-2 no solar yet. Still need to crimp my 50mm^2 cable and connect it to the breaker. I have a few questions. 1. Bought 2 "CBi DIN Rail Surge Protector QFL-1(13)D 1P 275V with Indication - 40kA" and connected that on the LOAD N and L cables. Only the one on LIVE is lit. Is the other one defective or did I buy the wrong stuff? 2. SOC stuck at 89%. I used the RJ45 that came with the Sunsynk and connected that to the CAN port on the inverter and battery. What can the problem be? 3. All those exposed cables from the main DB to the SUB, can I place the faceplate back, cut off a strip at the bottom and just put some trunking over it? Leshen
Hi Swazz Are there no battery fuses? I see a fuse holder with no fuses.

TonyH
Thank you for posting this. I am putting in an 8kW Sunsynk and a Hubble AM2 next week. Looks great. Don't forget the warning notices. swazz99jhb

It shows me the split between incoming from grid to Inverter and non-essential. Yellow Measure and Pumba

TonyH
The warnings are a COC requirement. You can buy the set from Power Forum. The warning is to be displayed so that people are made aware of high DC currents around the battery and leads. "DC supply 48V" (or 12V or 24V. " Danger Battery charging area", "Do Not! Disconnect cables under load", "Danger Electric shock risk". If there is a change-over switch there is a potential from the Inverter even if selected to Grid. The warning is "Alternative power source - isolate in the Garage" (or wherever the Inverter output isolation is installed).
