I use a heat pump which is on the essentials load. Why would you want to put it on non essentials? I assume the pump doesn't use much power.

Hi do you mind explaining this a bit further. I have my geyser on aux as well but I have only seen it once pushing power to aux. So on the aux screen the power you specify is minimum load on the house so that aux is activated?

not really, i was just testing to see what would happen if i use the oven since it's on the load circuit. I forgot to remove it

I have lithium but with underfloor heating, the battery will be depleted in an hour.

Thanks, I wish I could turn off battery only but that's fine it will work for me.

I have tested limit to load but it looks like it also cuts off pv power to grid. Is it how it works?

i sent you a PM with the whatsapp number that i used.

Thanks a lot. I guess I just have to be patient till summer. It says COMM:e416 and MCU:3161 I have a 5kw inverter

Thank you, so far I'm very much impressed by this inverter. I have attached the system settings I have. Thanks I will tick the limit to load option and monitor. Another question is regarding solar input, I can't seem to reach anywhere close to pv size, it looks like the current is being restricted to around 10amps. The spec sheet on the inverter says 11 + 11.

Hi guys, great thread. I just had my solar system installed. 3.35kwp of solar and a 5kwh lithium battery. The whole house is on load except for geyser on aux and underfloor heating on grid. I have a few questions regarding how these inverters work.(installer didn't have much experience with these fancy inverters) 1. I switched off the inverter when grid was available and the appliances on load were disconnected. Is this how it should work? 2. I see a lot of posts about neutral earth bonding. Unfortunately I don't understand much about mains electricity. Is there a simple test that I can do with my multimeter to see if I have a problem or whether I will need a relay. 3. My battery is powering the non essential loads on the grid. I have use timer ticked in systems page I don't want this to happen. Is there a way of controlling this without using the aux port? Thanks in advance

I had my inverter installed about 2 weeks ago in grid tied mode and everything was working fine. I then decided to add a battery, which I did. Currently I'm not using the load and aux ports. I have underfloor heating installed, but it uses normal plug points. I can't really isolate the underfloor heating plugs at the db board but I don't want them to be on during loadshedding. Is there a way of telling is there is loadshedding Using the inverter so that I can maybe use smart switches to turn underfloor heating off? How can I solve this issue?

Sorry to derail this thread, I have been looking for the Hubble AM2 batteries but it looks like everywhere I look there is no stock. Where can I get these?
