Can you link 540w JA to 540w canadian solar panel in same string?
If you have space on the roof put all 8 Canadians on one side provided your inverter can handle a 8s string.

How Sunsynk bricked my 8kw inverter after a software update
Does load include battery charging from PV? Surely they shouldn't push the firmware if they can see load on the inverter.

On a budget - 8 panel wiring options - 1x8panels or 2x4panels?
Run off of batteries the whole night so you can store and use more PV during the day. This will save you a lot more money on electricity. Use the grid only when you really have to. I think of Eskom as my generator for occasional use only. It's still cheaper to charge batteries from Eskom than it is from a generator.

Deye 8kW Hybrid Inverters Charge/Discharge Configurations?
In your case I would use a 150A fuse from main busbars to each inverter. With a large enough busbar cable lengths are not as critical but try as best as you can to keep them close to equal.

Deye 8kW Hybrid Inverters Charge/Discharge Configurations?
I use a 200A breaker on each 230Ah bank of batteries. This allows me to easily disconnect a bank from the main busbar for maintenance. From my main busbar to my inverter I use a 200A fused disconnect. Breakers don't trip as easily as a fuse blows so it's good to have a fuse in there. You should be using 50mmx10mm copper busbars.

I also say 1 string of 8 facing the same direction. I know you say you are a low electricity user but you going to see how on cloudy days that you are going to want more than 8 panels so keep 1 mppt open.

Sunsynk Canbus compatible BMS
Is this a recent update?

Understanding solar assistant stats
Thank you. So the load number is my total daily electricity usage in the home less the losses from powering the inverter?

Understanding solar assistant stats
I'm trying to work out my daily usage from SA stats. If I look at 6th April for example my load was 13.8kWh. Is that my total 24hr usage? I'm not sure as PV was 15.7 and battery was charged and discharged equally the same so what happened to that extra PV? Eskom mains breaker is switched off and whole house is being powered off grid for now.

Battery Temperature not showing on Solar Assistant
SA assistant documentation gives very specific info on why you can't use just any cable.

Battery Temperature not showing on Solar Assistant
Does your inverter have CAN communication?

Max panels with Sunsynk 8kw hybrid inverter
Nice

Battery Temperature not showing on Solar Assistant
Use the correct SA cables. 1 to inverter and 1 to battery. That's what I'm doing on the same BMS as you

Max panels with Sunsynk 8kw hybrid inverter
Let us know. Inverter will trip if AC is overloaded

Max panels with Sunsynk 8kw hybrid inverter
Sticker shows usable 22A and max 28A. So if I put a parallel string of 13A panels that's 26A. On my series string of 13A panels I got 15A from cloud Edge. I wonder what 30A would do to the inverter if max is 28A

Max panels with Sunsynk 8kw hybrid inverter
This sucks a bit. I'm sure that the sticker on the side of my 8kw says 26A+26A

Max panels with Sunsynk 8kw hybrid inverter
Have a look in the FW thread. How old is the inverter? Have you ever updated the FW?

Can i disable Axpert MPPT fans if no solar
Fans are switched by temp sensors. If it's hot let them cool.

Sunsynk/Deye Specs - What even is the truth
All good. You'll be happy with the sunsynk. 😁

Deye Inverter, 80% voltage drop on switching on the PV switch. Is there any setting which must be changed?
Even the battery cable looks like housewire the way it holds those bends

Deye Inverter, 80% voltage drop on switching on the PV switch. Is there any setting which must be changed?
Is that housewire on the PV input?

Max panels with Sunsynk 8kw hybrid inverter
But that flat peak indicates inverter clipping not panels or weather. Have you updated the inverter FW? iirc the higher PV amperage only came in a later FW

Sunsynk/Deye Specs - What even is the truth
Go for 2x 8kw You get redundancy incase of an inverter fault. You get 4x mppt's

Seplos BMS v2 10E is amazing.
My cutoff voltage is at 3.5V. Battery is now at 98% and charge current has been dropped to 10A by the bms to absorb and balance. What's great as it took only 7 cycles to drop from 50mV inbalance to around 15mV at 3.5V

Seplos BMS v2 10E is amazing.
I'm impressed at it all just like you😂 Seplos took flak for it's small passive balancer but I find it perfect for maintaining pack balance without the need for an active balancer.
