  1. Why you only charging a 200ah battery at 30amps?
  2. I wasn't going to do it without the resin but then I thought about the wet plaster going on it. I'm to OCD lol.
  3. Ferrules. Heat shrink. Then in a resin repair tube thing. I may even solder the ferrules once crimped.
  4. Its going up from the 45 degree. Over the hole and just below the PV DB. I'm going to look if I still have spare tiles lol.
  5. DB's are there. Bottom trunking is for AC. Top trunking is for PV. Trunking will cover the hole like it is. But I'm not keen on leaving a hole. If I use a light switch box I might still be able to cover it with the trunking.
  6. No problem. Plumbing I don't mind either. I've always done my own plumbing. I'm still undecided about this flippen wire though. I went and bought a resin repair kit but I don't feel like removing the inverter to replace the tile lol. So now I'm thinking a plug point here but then I need to adjust trunking. Dammit I hate being undecided. Anyway I'll figure something out and report back.
  7. Right where I wanted to go up with my trunking. I can either use the trunking to hide it or have another plug point.
  8. Yeah it's an old house. They extended the kitchen before and just threw cables in the walls as there is no ceiling space. But the cable runs in the middle of nowhere. Was surprised myself when the power tripped
  9. Unlucky while mounting trunking. Drilled this surfix which feeds a plug point for my fridge. There is no conduit and cable is plastered into the tiled wall and goes behind kitchen cupboards. What are my options to repair it?
  10. If grid voltage drops the only way for the inverter not to feedback is to also drop its voltage but if grid drops low enough then the inverter is going to feedback or disconnect from grid

I see lots of installations with DC and AC lines in the same trunking. How is this done? If in the same trunking must you use conduit to seperate the cables. Either hard or flexible conduit?
  12. The secrets of earthing that none want to tell lol
  13. Shoto is still recommended to be run at 50A discharge. Both are still not a true 1C.
  14. Yes panels cool down then Sun pops out
  15. That's around 8m of rail length for 7 panels. 4 brackets are not enough. I would go atleast 6 per rail.
  16. Are they 6 next to each other or 3/3 Are they portrait or landscape?
  17. Thanks. I'll use 2.5mm2
  18. Sunsynk 8kw inverter. What size wires should I use for the Earth and Neutral bridge wires going to the relay?
  19. Getting those 3 cable through a 25mm conduit won't be fun.
  20. You guys should save the trouble and check with @DeonBez he gave me a great deal on 16 cells and a Seplos Mason DIY box. Check if he has available.

Is 5kw possible with this little thing? https://www.tesup.co.za/product-page/magnum5-wind-turbine-5kw-12v-24v-48v-South-Africa?gclid=CjwKCAiA85efBhBbEiwAD7oLQOPhfb7NSabhZkDYvij6g3pNdmvDga8yAdiTMCMVaXWACa7dndU5LRoCt5MQAvD_BwE
  22. I'm so tired of pulling wire now😂
  23. How well does the fish tape push through the 90 degree bends?
  24. Solar geyser gas stove. Problem fixed. Or 16kw inverter
  25. Some people also install 450w panels instead of 550w.
