Installer Required
Sunsynk warranty does not require the installer to supply everything, you will still be able to register your equipment whether the installer supplied the equipment or not. I'm based in Pretoria if you need an installer you can hit my inbox.

Sunsync 8kw 3 x LBSA 5 Kw 12 545w Pannels DIY Install
The best is to install a busbar and run all the battery cables(25mm) to the busbars wnd then use 70mm from busbar to inverter. It's good and safe to run the cables in trunking and sprague pipe. Running cables outside is risky. A DIY busbar box will cost you around R2000 or so

Synsynk 5kw + 5.5kwh Hubble AM2 constant charge current
Completely normal...30W is way too little it's just a trickle current.

PV Store: Scam?
I bought two systems from their Midrand Branch...Sunsynk 8kW, 16×455W and 2×UP5000s and the other was Luxpower and UP5000 for a backup. They are a Legit company and their Midrand office is fairly secure.

30kW 3 phase inverter
Thanks a lot...I have already advised the client concerning the issue. We are going to use Hybrid inverters and AGM batteries. Thanks again

30kW 3 phase inverter
Hie guys....hope everyone is OK. I'm doing a quotation for a workshop that works during the day only. So I am looking for an inverter that works with panels only and no battery or Eskom. The workshop is offgrid so the client wants the system to work during the day only ie direct from panels and no batteries. Which inverter brand works best with solar panels and no batteries or Eskom. It's a unique scenario....your advice is greatly appreciated

Connecting different power panels together
Basically the efficiency of your panels will be reduced. I'll recomend you use an inverter with dual MPPTs and connect same size panels to their own charger. Or you can buy a separate charge controller for the new panels

Growatt SPF5000ES and Dyness A48100 Settings (No Solar)
Ok fine then🤙

Growatt SPF5000ES and Dyness A48100 Settings (No Solar)
I think setting 03 is fine because it(UPS) allows a voltage range of 170-280V. I personally set the Voltage point back to utility on 65%. In as much as you want to utilise the stored power, you must leave some for load shedding.

X2 FREEDOM WON 40KWH WITH X2 DEYE 12KW 3 PHASE INVERTERS OR MUST I CONNECT THEM TO A RACK OF X16 4.8KWH PYLOTECH BATTERIES?
If he wants to go offgrid, just bite the bullet and go with Victron.....you can go with 3×8 or 10KVA Quattros and you'll never regret it. Those beast will live forever, these Sunsynks/Deye inverters are still not proven durability wise. Then on the batteries I think you can get better juice when you use 2V 2-3000Ah gel long life batteries. Just my personal opinion

What size breaker for 5kw Luxpower inverter
If your load draws 20A fron an input if 25A....it means you only have 5A charging power left(though the charging current is higher on the dc side). So it's better to go higher so you can have at least 15A left to charge your batteries
-
What size breaker for 5kw Luxpower inverter
I usually use 25A on the output of each inverter and 40A on the input. The 40A is for the inverter to be able to charge the batteries as well as pass through power to the load

PV DC Breaker Hot and tripping
I had the same problem with one of my installations. The dc breaker was the ZBeny brand 63A 600V dc one. Changed abd put a new breaker of the same specs and beand, problem solved. My conclusion is that sometimes these products are not up to task, some are great yet some not so good.....maybe quality control is not always top notch in the production line. Are you using true dc fuses, sometimes you can get cheaper ac fuses and they are not meant for dc circuits

BMS Communication Cable
Pylontech comes with corresponding cables for each inverter. Make sure the cable that you use is the right for the available inverter. Each cable has inverter names on it, just check if your inverter is there.

Sunsynk Inverter and UP5000 Pylontech battery
What is your charge voltage. As I said, I had a Dyness battery in alarm mode when the charging voltage was set to 54V. Dyness and Pylontech have quite similar batteries and BMSs. You might need to double check your charge voltages

Growatt SPF 5000 ES - Fault 02 Error
This is where Deye/Sunsynk beats these Voltronic inverters(Kodak, RCT, Mecer, Growatt). Voltronic inverter are not good at heat dissipation hence they perform very bad in hot weather and/or when the panels are producing high power. They tend to heat up easly. That bug heat sink on Deye is a blessing especially in African summer

Sunsynk 12kw 3phase
Hie, the power rating for 3 phase equipment is given as the summation of all the phases. So in other words 12kW is the total output of all the phases combined. So each phase will be 4kW

Sunsynk Inverter and UP5000 Pylontech battery
Hie, did you connect the cable between UP5000 and the inverter? You must go to battery settings and select Lithium battery and then put the corresponding protocol number. After that the inverter must be able to read the UP5000 BMS and display SOC in %.
-
Sunsynk Inverter and UP5000 Pylontech battery
What is your battery charging Voltage. Just double check...I had a Dyness that complained of Over Voltage when I used 54V as Bulk Charge

Yet Another SunSynk 5kW Install
It's ideal to supply your fuse holders from the top so the fuse will be dead when removing it for whatever reason. If you supply it from the bottom, it remains live even when the holder is opened

Effects of partial shadow on panels
Sorry I don't have a photo but it was 3 panels in the shade
-
Effects of partial shadow on panels
To those that still doubts the effects if partial shadow on panels, here is the example. These two strings are made up of 7×455W panels in series. One array is completely innthe sun while the other is partially covered by shadow
