I wish solar assistant would come back to people I've sent so many emails asking for assistance on this or if this is something in the pipeline etc.
The raspberry pi has Bluetooth soon theory it should be able to talk to the Victron equipment via that protocol too.
 

The fight will be for food, water, energy and how you are going protect it. For those on chronic medication: do you have spare meds? Basic medicine will become life saving. 

Solar equipment  is being stolen direct from suppliers in Joburg. 2 incidents last week. Two 8 ton trucks and 8 armed men in Modderfontein on Tuesday then on Friday  30 armed men and R56 million of stock at a logistics company.

This is my biggest fear in SA.
We are probably the only house in our neighborhood with full solar.

We stand out like a Christmas tree and I always wonder when Solar equipment becomes the next target for break ins. 

Bullets are probably worth more than solar if the grid does collapse. 
If the doomsday preppers on Discovery Channel is anything to go by.

230V±10% is the spec, so as long as it's not over 253V, it's still within spec.

I would think very good. The DSP is of course running off a crystal, and there is capture hardware used, and an interrupt dedicated to zero crossing of the AC input. Frequency measurement is simple with that setup. 

How accurate are the Axpert inverters at reading the frequency?
I'd also like to set an alert for mine, I've noticed incredible fluctuations the past 60 days.

@GMAC yes, that's the whole idea. I want to build a solution that is accessible to anyone. The solution works, and is cheap.

Specifically, I request that it be explicitly stated that the backup system remains my property, and that I have the right to remove it when I terminate the lease.
As the owner of the backup system, I take responsibility for ensuring that it is installed and operated in a safe and compliant manner. Additionally, I will restore the property to its original condition, including filling mounting holes in walls and changing wiring in the mains distribution board back to the original configuration, with the exception of small screw holes in the brandering used for the module purlin brackets.
I appreciate your interest in potentially purchasing my backup system, however, I am not interested in selling it at this time. Therefore, I request that this addendum be included in the lease agreement to provide clarity on ownership and removal of the system.

This is my effort to replicate the Sunsynk power flow screen as a custom Home Assistant card as well as some Dashboard ideas I've been using. Improvements and suggestions welcome.

Option to switch between two card styles: lite or full. Animated power flow based on positive/negative/zero sensor values with configurable dynamic speed. Have anyone tried to hook up a Victron MPPT to the Solar Assistant unit? 
I have a Axpert inverter of which I do not use the internal MPPT?
I have installed a Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150/85-Tr VE.Can Solar Charge Controller which I can only see via the bluetooth app.

Possibly with some rejigging but SA state that Victron is not currently supported
