2 x Deye SA Version 12kVA 3ph in Parallel Smart Load wiring
Aux port does not work in parallel and should be left unconnected.

Sunsynk startup on battery
If the inverter reaches the shutdown %, it should shut down the output and stop inverting. Once it reaches the restart %, it should start inverting again. Somehow it's not exactly working like that according to one of the previous posts?

2 Pole vs 3 Pole DC Surge Protectors
Those aren't 3 pole, they are just the higher voltage version. The voltage should match what your inverter can handle. If the arrestor voltage is higher than your inverter, it will only start working after it's too late...

Wiring up Batteries: Series then Parallel, or Parallel then Series?
Option A, otherwise you require double the number of balancers.

Exactly like a grid-tie, yes.

Panels Amps On Sunsync inverter
From the spec sheet - 17A

Will this damage a Sunsync 5KW inverter? Your System running with 550W panels?
I'm not sure I fully understand your question? I agree with what he said, he pretty much just discusses the voltage limits. The Isc max was only recently added to the spec sheet. I can only speculate that SS maybe thought their safety margin was big enough (17A/13A) or software is sufficiently fast to catch overcurrent events and later learned that it is not necessarily true in all cases. And that is the reason he does not mention it there? (At the time of the video it was not part of the spec.)

Victron Multiplus-ii 48/5000/70-50 4000w
The most amazing thing about them is the price!

Will this damage a Sunsync 5KW inverter? Your System running with 550W panels?
Because you have an inductor and you work with current slopes. The software works in intervals - because that is the easy way to do it. So if you are too slow, and the slope too fast, you go over the limit of the active device before you know it. There is absolutely no way to get the voltage ratio here with a buck, without using exotic components and a way too big inductor. And then you still need a second stage. Most inverters do. It seems SS has finally updated their specs to include it.

Will this damage a Sunsync 5KW inverter? Your System running with 550W panels?
It makes sense when you take into account that the first stage is not a buck converter, most likely a multi-phase boost, or more complicated converter like zeta, possibly even phase shift. (So you have active devices on the input side, that have a max current rating). The second think to consider is that it's probably completely under software control, which means current control is imperfect.

Will this damage a Sunsync 5KW inverter? Your System running with 550W panels?
Actually it does not. It could estimate it, but then it would be making assumptions that don't hold in the real world - like when you introduce shadows and panels with cracked modules etc.

DIY Battery Enclosures
Perhaps an active balancer for the first week or two is warranted, after that if a small passive balancer cannot keep them in check, something else is wrong.

Inverters without CT coils that can blend Eskom supply with solar and battery power without feeding back into the grid - non-essentials passthrough functionality
The Victron uses a Carlo Gavazzi ET112 instead of the CT (which takes more space than a CT)...

Greenrich battery?
Well, you are in luck, because that is how fuses work.

Sunsync 3 phase Inverter
From the hubble brochure: But at the price of the Hubble, there are better options that are LiFePo4, especially if you don't need a 1C battery.

Greenrich battery?
The BMS alarm is actually configured for 155A continuous, and the trips set at 170A@1000ms and 180A@100ms.
-
Greenrich battery?
It depends on the exact fuse, but if you want a 160A to reliably blow within 10ms, you need about 3kA... in 100ms that comes down to about 1.2kA.

Grid Frequency Limits
Then don't touch it! 𤪠230V±10% is the spec, so as long as it's not over 253V, it's still within spec.

Panels underperforming or another limiting factor? I'm new!!!
It looks like the string is split in 2 and connected in parallel to one MPPT. That would explain the flatline - the current is clipping.

CT extention to +30m using CAT 6 ethernet cable
Yes. IIRC, CAT 7 is always STP (and the whole cable also has a shield), so if you struggle to find STP CAT6, try CAT7.

CT extention to +30m using CAT 6 ethernet cable
Strictly speaking, at some point the capacitance of the twisted pair will become too much, so using 2 pairs will probably decrease the length by which you can extend. (and potentially confuse people into incorrectly using one pair per pole)
