The Symo he did buy in the end (non-hybrid) is three-phase too. The Galvo and Primo are the single-phase units, and it seems only the Primo comes as a Hybrid in SOME places (America). That's a pity really. I don't think you can do any better than a Fronius if you want to go IP65.
November 27, 20169 yr http://www.thepowerstore.co.za/pIH-R5048ME/Replus-5KW-48V-Hybrid-Inverter.aspx What about this one?
November 27, 20169 yr Replus is rebranded Goodwe, they do not supply you with the new firmware if Goodwe brings out new firmware. So if the insurance gives me money I will replace it with a Goodwe.
November 28, 20169 yr Some good news. The insurance is going to pay out. So hopefully I will have PV again this week some time.

December 5, 20169 yr OK so my Goodwe is on its way. I am running a Infini 3Kw at the moment. Do some testing for a client but when my Goodwe is here I will replace the Infini.

Is the Goodwe going to achieve everything that you wanted? "Ok so what units are out there that will 1) Works like the Infini. True hybrid by combining 3 power sources. 2) dont have any fans 3) 5kw and up pv generation Wont break the bank."

December 5, 20169 yr it not such an issue, i just split my db into two segments supplied by two Goodwe's and all runs grand

December 5, 20169 yr I just run all my loads on the grid feed side. If power fails I switch the load to the inverter side. All the stuff that have to stay on is on UPS power anyway. If we go away I will switch the load to the inverter. I also think that you can run 2 or more together all feeding the grid. So you don't need to have them in parallel.
December 5, 20169 yr yep all three of mine feed the grid with no issue and i never have an overload in the "kitchen" no moans from the Mrs, so i am super happy and i run everything thru them

Is that the case ?
