Good Day, Could somebody please explain this to me. Had my system installed recently but a few things not adding up

A = PV is 2163w
B = Load that the inverter is supplying
D = load that I am using.
C = What is this, where is that 578w comming from
E is only showing the load that the inverter is supplying, Not the full load on the UPS i.e 1879w
Am I looking at it wrong or do you think the CT coil is in the incorrect Place When We have loadshedding and the grid is off, All the figures are perfect.

Mine showed similar odd readings when I 1st installed my system.
After putting the CT coin in the correct position and ensuring the CT is wired correctly then all the numbers added up nicely :)

Check the CT is wired correctly it makes a huge difference swapping the t wires correctly as well as the actual placement of the CT coil at your DB.

Thanks for the info. Thought that might be the problem. Will call the installer and speak to him about it. Just wanted to see if I was correct or if I was Just reading wrong.

Ok, I checked the CT coil and it is installed between the prepaid meter an my main breaker which seems correct as per the manual. any other suggestions I should check.

I'm a newbie on this front, but apparently there's an arrow on the CT coil and it should be pointing from outside to inside, ie from prepaid meter towards your main breaker?

Your battery is charging at 700 Watts and your load is 1878 Watts. 

PV is supplying 2163 Watts so the difference comes from the grid.

But then shouldn't is reflect that on the dial screen, Why does it not show that it is pulling  578w from the grid.

Because your usage is 1879W, 1301W from the inverter, and 578W from the grid.

I think the confusion arises from the 1578 in C vs the 19 on the right edge, which appears to be the same circuit.

Yes, that does look like a CT issue.

Ok, I think I get it now. The Dials only show what the inverter is pulling from the grid. Not the extra that the AC load is using. Same with the dial on the AC Load. It does not show the full AC load that the Essential circuit is using. It only shows what the inverter is supplying excluding what the grid is supplying

When I look on the sun synk app on my home, also not the Total ac load. Looking at getting a Efergy E Max so I can mount it in the kitchen and can see real time what the Total AC load I am using so I don't overload. Any other suggestions for a display where I can see the AC realtime.

It is rather odd. I think if you had non-essential load it could show. 

Do you not maybe need a firmware update?

yes the have, but with some white 2 flex. Not a twisted pair. Do you think the polarity on the wires could be wrong. It was only extended about 2.5 meters

You need a twisted pair. The twists mitigate the effects of EMI. You should redo it, and don't even mess around with a splice, get a full length of one UTP pair from a CAT 5 or Cat 6 data cable.

Think I am going to try that and see if i get different readings

If the polarity were wrong, you'd get negative numbers on the info screen, which you've already stated that you don't.

Ah Ok. Thought that was if the Arrow was pointing in the wrong direction.
