Hi mihaigsm2003, do you have a new version of display firmware (remote panel)?

for max 11 Kw.

Many thanks!

Youre  right, but i must add that my own Altera Blaster works with OpenOCD. Its actually a standard FT245(ftdi) frontend with backend cpld. But its vid/pid and ft245 requirement will probably not find

Yes it’s working. But final tests will be tomorrow with sun. But all functions are working. Just Wi-Fi not working

Hi, did someone have a newer version than 112.19 remote panel firmware, for Axpert Max 1 11 KW  - or MPP Solar 11KW?

Thx in advance

why u need new version? I know 112.19 is for max 1, 8Kw, on 11kw not show maxim of power.

mine is MPP Solar 11KW max, or Axpert Max 1 11kw; 112.19 is taken from forum also from some Czech site; it is said that work for Axpert max 1 11 KW. i installed since 3 months and works very well. Previously I had 112.04, stock from factory.

As previously,  the new 112.19 installed it show 150 A, maximum, on display; i know that firmware of 8 Kw has a limitation to 100 A, but this one shown what the inverter have in tech description.

11kw inverter have 2 streams of 5.5 kw each; i have 7 Kw installed in PV panels, reached 6.4-6.6 Kw several times, 120 A sometimes for battery charge.

I just try to see if exist a newer version. because i have Pylontech (data cable connection to inverter), and the charge is dynamic, based on optimization algorithms; the battery charging voltage rise sometimes to 52.4v-53V (once) ;

i would like to see if exist a variant to limit the max charging voltage to 52.4 V in display panel (to preserve battery life), of course this will increase the amperes, but reserve exist;

I believe that all the display firmwares will issue a QMCHGCR command to the DSP to find out the maximum charge current for that model. So in that sense, the displays are all pretty much universal.

But there are limitations on other settings and commands. I think that the main determinant is the QGMN command (Query General Model Number), most display firmwares only handle a few model numbers.

It seems to me that it would make sense to merge a lot of the display firmwares and make a few fairly universal ones.

I need U1:72.03

The only 72.xx firmwares available are 72.04 (August 2022), and 72.62/66/68 (Dec 2022 to May 2023). I would recommend 72.68 since it is nine months more recent, and 72.68 may have reasonable "stuck at 90 V" avoidance. There is also a patched version of 72.68 that possibly better addresses this problem.

Note that there are two versions of 72.68, one seems to be an accidental release of a debug version. I believe I have linked to the correct one above. The correct hex file (per my best guess on 24/Aug/2023) has the name MAX8K_7268.inv and size 373,381 bytes. Use properties to get the exact file size, otherwise Windows will summarise it at 365 kB (though the other one summarises as 371 kB).

and U2:12.13

While 12.13 should be available somewhere for download, I recommend using the latest in that series, 12.21, which may be usable for both brands of processor used in the displays.

I didnt know that there is a new firmware named 72.68, i thought the last os the 72.66 that u patched. On 72.68 there are some modifications ? U had time to check? Do u think your 72.66 patched is better than 72.68 original???

Looking at my notes, I seem to have compared the two 72.68 files (many hours of work), and came to the conclusion that the earlier one was a debug version, to be ignored. But now I still have to compare 72.66 and 72.68 (and possibly 72.65 it seems) so see which one is the best.

Hopefully these will be easier to compare. The debug version had a slight change to most command handlers, making many changes to the resultant hex file.

In short: no, I've not yet had time to check.

As far as the stuck at 90 V issue is concerned, I suspect so, though recently I've had reason to wonder.

I've had a chance to look at this now. I'm not convinced that 72.68 is the better; there is a significant amount of code in 72.66 that is not present in 72.68. Sometimes cleaning up firmware removes code, but the amount of it is such that I have my doubts.

One example: the 250 V check in the MPPT algorithm was added after 72.62 in 72.66, but it's missing again in 72.68. This is one change that I had high hopes for, and I still hold some hope that it's good for the "stuck at 90 V" issue. Only time, testing, and reporting of observations will tell.

Yes, please post the update files here.

Though if one file really is 9.8 MB, then you might have to host on Google Drive or some other file hosting site, and post a link here.

It could  well be that 72.65 is more advanced than 72.66 and 72.68.

Thanks in advance.

Hello . about the 8kw easun with firmware 46.62 can't charge more than 80 amps on the batteries. is there a problem with the specific firmware and which one should I replace it with?

The only 46.xx firmware that I have is 46.71. Its QMCHGCR command goes all the way to 120 A, so that should mean that it can charge at up to 120 A, unless your display firmware has some sort of glitch. Usually, they would allow the range specified in the QMCHGCR command.

There is a link to the 46.71 firmware here:

Hello everybody! It is possible to flash GD32F305VET6 with st-link v2  ? I have a EASUN iSolar SMW 8KW with error 32 on screen after a failed firmware update trough usb! Thanks!

Probably. But if you can see warning code 32, then the display firmware is working, but it can't talk to the DSP.

Also, USB updating only works for main (U1, DSP) firmware. The main processor for most models is a TI DSP, and you certainly can't JTAG program that with an ST programmer.

Your best bet is to retry the main firmware updating. See if you think your inverter is bricked

Well , i can canfirm that GD32F305VET6 can be flashed  with st-link v2 , without any problem, I did some test and works perfect. And i opened the inverter and on the control board is a TMS 320F28066PZT, but i don't know exactly witch firmware should i use. Also anyone have a pinout of serial rj45 connector for this inverter? Thanks.

This can't be flashed via jtag if briked becouse is password protected

Well , i managed to flash the main via serial adapter by bypassing lcd, it works with no problem, inverter started ok, but display still not working properly, not showing output voltage , battery voltage, etc. If i conect the inverter via serial ,bypassimg the lcd ,to the pc, everithing shows ok in whatchpower, but not on screen. Do you have guys a firmware for main and lcd that they are compatible? Main cpu is TMS320F28066PZT and lcd cpu is GD32F305VET6. Thanks for the help!
