I would think that any recent main firmware should work with removable display firmware version 12.21. Failing that, you might try the more recent 38.11 (though 38.11 seems to be mainly for VM IVs). I believe that both of these should work with either display chipset. Since about August 2022, we should not have to worry about display chipset, at least for Axpert MAXs. January 1, 20251 yr good morning guys and Happy 2025 everyone! I hope you can help me: I have the easun 8kw that you talk about here in the forum, my firmware is 46.05, everything works well for my needs but I would like a more updated firmware to work with the SOC and not with the voltage, what do you suggest to do: I didn't quite understand whether it is sufficient to update the inverter firmware or whether it is also necessary to update the display firmware. If so, where can I find the display firmware version? Could you kindly post the files of both and make a summary of the situation for desperate people like me?

The latest is 46.83, available here. 3 hours ago, ross68 said: I didn't quite understand whether it is sufficient to update the inverter firmware or whether it is also necessary to update the display firmware. Yes, the display firmware also needs updating. 3 hours ago, ross68 said: If so, where can I find the display firmware version? Wherever you found the U1 version, the U2 version is for the display. Either in monitoring software or on the display itself. It's probably 12.xx or 122.xx. If so, the latest version is 12.28, available here. The linked posts should have links to the firmware upload instructions.

You can just press the down button on the display until you get to a "page" with U2 at the top. Just report the two numbers under that. Example: This inverter is running display firmware version 02.83. 4 hours ago, ross68 said: is it better to update first the display or first the inverter? I don't really know, but I suspect that it doesn't matter.
