Hi Kalahari. I see you are using a Victron MPPT to help with solar. I assume your inverter MPPT are full? How did you connect the Victron to your system?

I had a look at my neighbors setup yesterday and low and behold I'm seeing the same behaviour on his setup where the individual SOC levels of the batteries are not the same and drifting appart if not fully charged for the day. Same inverter just different battery combo but also using Pace BMS.

Just wondering now is this a inverter + BMS spesific issue or an Inverter spesific issue. If the inverter is only relying on the avg SOC reading from the batteries and the BMS is allowing for drifts like this to occure, it is really something end users should be made aware of to avoid damaging batteries like this.

If you are using battery coms then you need to ensure the BMS settings are 100% correct and do some full discharge/charge cycles every now and then.
If you are using voltage settings and no comms then you also need to make sure you are using 100% correct bms settings and ensure your voltage settings are withing or below the range set by the bms.
And again sometimes do full charge/discharge cycles.

The pace bms'es are quite good if they are set correctly, they come pretty close to the jk bms's.
All batteries are different even from the same model/brand due to the actual internal resistances of the total cells in each battery and the overall age/health of the battery.
If your battery settings are not correct AND you do not regularly run full charge/discharge cycles then the batteries reported SOC will always drift apart.
This does not necessarily mean you have bad cells. It may just be that they need so good full charging cycles to "re-calibrate" the bms in each battery.

For peace of mind you need to see the actual state of all the cells and plot that over 2 or 3 full charge/discharge cycles after making sure the bms settings are correct.
i.e. charge and full absorb at the top end then discharge right down to cut-off and repeat 2 or 3 times. That should re-calibrate the SOC and SOH and allow you to plot the condition of the cells.
From there you can decide if any cells need some attention (individual absorption charge or replacement)

At the moment its feeding the batteries, in parallel with the Sunsynk... soon the Sunsynk will be replaced, though, with Victron Inverters, so this is temporary, but works 100%... previous to the 85A MPPT and the 4 Jinko panels, the batteries would get full only every 2 or 3 weeks this time of year, now, its pretty much a few times per week and the consumption has gone up by a bit as well... :-) around 27 to 30kWh per day...
