  1. I would not use anything less than 6mm for each.
  2. No use having those think cables when Plug Sockets are rated for 16A. Will also not be able to put 2 or more circuits in 1 pipe. There is really no need. It is also difficult to work with in such small enclosures.
  3. Congrats @Gefahrlich. Thank you Powerforum!!
  4. Very nice install. Maybe a stupid question but how do you use HV batteries with the Victron inverters. Aren't they 48V inverters?
  5. We will need more info. Picture of sticker on side of inverter. Panel specifications and how they are connected.
  6. Solar Assistant should be able to help with control. They have the following cables.
  7. Maybe contact @BritishRacingGreen. He repairs inverters.
  8. In normal Db there is nothing wrong with bare busbars. They are neat and do the job it was designed for. If there is any possibility for accidental shock or flash over the Db is not up to standard and must be changed. Saying that I do like these type of busbars a lot.
  9. They are also just redoing the part they failed. We had to redo the whole test and it wasn't the same test as the first.
  10. Maybe contact these guys. According to this email you will be able to do that.
  11. Almost the same State of charge in the morning. This gap will get bigger during charging and when they are almost full all will be the same.
  12. Pylontech batteries does the same thing.
  13. Sorry missed that one. It seems the way these BMS are balancing between different batteries is via voltage and not State of charge. I have seen the same thing happen to my 3 batteries. It will close the gap as the batteries become more fully charged. From about 90% the lagging batteries will catch up and all will show 100% at almost the same time.
  14. Take a screenshot of the battery voltages. Do they differ also from each other?
  15. It looks better on this graph but the mppt is still chasing the load. I am running is SBU so my battery takes the load and then gets replaced by the solar
  16. Hi Handysmurf. This is normal behavior. The Solar is Following your load. Seeing that your setting is Solar/ Util/Batt the grid takes the load and is then replaced by the solar. It takes sometime for the mppt to react. When Eskom isn't available the batt will fill the gap until the solar can take over. I would like to know whey is your load so erratic?
  17. Hi Coulomb. Thank you for the reply. Battery was at 50V and the state of charge was 43%. It was charging at 1400w or 31Amp when this happened.
  18. Hi Guys. This morning after loadshedding something strange happened. This is on a Kodak King inverter, 3 x us3000C Pylontech batteries and 4kw solar. Power come back on at 10:12 Solar dropped from 2300W to zero at 10.14 voltage went from 110V to 129V seeing that there was no current Solar picked up again at 10.15 to 2300W and went on as if nothing happened. This is the first time I have seen this behavior. Any ideas?, can it be that the inverter was confused to what to do when grid returned?
  19. Hi Usogard. You are correct in saying that you don't need the LV hub for your batteries. You can connect 16 US300C batteries together without the hub. If I am correct all dip switches should be in the off position The cable between the batteries is according to me a normal lan cable. These is only 1 master battery as indicated on the drawing you attached. Cable to inverter will very according to the inverter.
  20. If you get Solar assistant you can change any setting on the inverter remotely. This is on a Kodak King
  21. Hi Ozzy. I would suggest you have a look Solar Assistant. It will give you more control over the system.
  22. Have a look at the following settings on your inverter.
  23. Hi GPvdB. My inverter is set on UPS. Haven't had any issues. Kodak King 5Kw
  24. There is only one tester and that is a FLUKE. On the mine we only use FLUKE because of there superior protection when doing something stupid like testing 11Kv with it๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿค. Don't ask how we know this๐Ÿ˜…
  25. Please note that voltage isn't a good indication of State of charge for Lithium batteries. Have a look at Solar Assistant. You can mount a Tablet in your house or use your phone to see all info from batt or inverter. You can also make changes.
