  1. Contact @steve87. Maybe he can assist.
  2. @BritishRacingGreen don't you perhaps have an reconditioned unit?
  3. Yes and no. If lets say it is warning 4 and you ignore it you could sit without power. So some needs attention. Warning 69 . It just states that the BMS has requested the inverter to stop charging seeing that it may be fully charged. So saying this Warnings could possibly become Errors if unattended.
  4. I am running an .75kw pressure pump of my 5kw inverter with no issues. I assume if you have a large load on the inverter and the pump starts that will be an issue.
  5. It seems Deye is also joining the battery game. Deye LV Battery 6.14kWh 51.2V 120Ah(RW-M6.1) https://www.getpower.co.za/product/deye-lv-battery-6-14kwh-51-2v-120ah-rw-m6-1/
  6. If the battery voltage is above the 23V setting it will not charge from grid
  7. Go to config page. Select inverter settings Edit batt Click on Charge source priority and select solar and utility save
  8. Ok. Go to the config tap Change the following settings. Back to battery voltage and back to grid voltage. If I am not mistaken this will unfortunately engage grid to charge you batteries during the day as well.
  9. Switch to SBU setting. Change the power graph so that your batt stay at 90% for 2 different times. you will need to decide when you want the battery full. Something like this
  10. Please see attached screenshot.
  11. Yes you can. The important thing is to match the panels as close as possible of optimal results.
  12. Does he know of the risk in using Lead-acid batteries? Gas and explosion!
  13. Insurance companies should stay at insurance and not get involved in something they know nothing about. My friend installs fire systems, those balls will just leave a mess and do nothing to stop a lithium fire. Special products is needed to extinguish those fires and still isn't very effective.
  14. If you are sure that you are producing 11500w and it is only displaying 10000w there might still be an issue. If you upgraded to the beta version this may be the reason. Please email Solar Assistant with your concerns. Maybe a calibration problem on there side.
  15. Think the best is to email them. There seems to be a bug in the program. You can also maybe install the Beta version. https://solar-assistant.io/help/updates/beta
  16. Hi Battlingpilot. Begin by changing your Output source priority. Change it to SBU(Solar-Battery-Utility Then have a look at the following battery setting. Back to battery voltage and Back to grid voltage
  17. The Battery BMS knows what it wants. Just Leave it do what is required. Mine is currently asking for 110A charge even though it is only charging at 50A. This will change as the batteries fully charge.
  18. Mine is changed by the BMS. There is comms between my batteries and inverter. If you have communication between batteries they should share the current.
  19. Hi Andre. If your battery BMS is connected to your inverter it can change charging current on the inverter. Maybe this is what is happening here?
  20. 5kW is able to carry load and charge batteries. May settings below attached. Please note that some are being changed by the battery BMS. I am also using Solar Assistant witch is controlling everything.
  21. I have a Kodak 5Kw inverter with 3 x Us3000C Batteries and 12 x 335W Panels. No issues with charging it full.
  22. Please note that I don't now this compony or person. Only seeing a lot of installs being done by them on Facebook. Maybe contact them Thorne Solar Installations http://www.thornesolar.co.za/
