  2. Yes they all out of the same factory, im not sure if that Blue one has a Growatt model, but that blue unit is useless they way it was working about a year or so ago? Maybe they sorted it with a firmware update, I really don't know
  3. They all out of the same factory, Sacolar is part of Growatt and all the same only the case is different. And today they tell me they can Parallel with old and new that was not the case when I had chatted to another fellow at the factory some time back.

Sorry have not been around here for some time , had a chat with the fellows at the factory and they seem to say that the new and old board can be connected in parallel, I have not tried this but thats what they tell me, And the Sacolar units are the same as the Growatt and have also had the same changes , the first unit and then the first but with new comms board, and now they all coming with new 067 MCU and new comms board.

They are the same unit in a different box and can be used together, only problem if you buy , you will need to check they both have the same firmware, that is because some boards have changed and the firmware is also some other numbers unlike the 040 firmware the new Growatt may come with 067 firmware , the factory tell me they do not play well together,

Some more feedback on this Rodeo: Pylontech has accepted the warranty claim & released the original amount paid, well happy to say that this case is now closed and Pylontech have honored the warranty, I think I will have to delete my negative comments, and hope this product keeps on doing its job
  7. Well well well, I was looking at "upgrading"to a Sunsynk Inverter but if they not going to give support or even reply to emails, then maybe just stick to what I have, very silly of them.
  8. Well put it this way it's been a struggle, and unpleasant, but after Pylontech taking a good look at the situation, they are indicating that they will honor the warranty. I will let you know as soon as its done. could be a day or more
  9. Im going to be talking with them in the morning I will ask the question, i have all the versions of firmware from day one, the latest is 40.06/41.06 if I remember the first 3 did not work in SUB mode as soon as the battery got to 100% it ran off mains
  10. The SPF500ES does work with the US3000C regardless of the firmware , what firmware are you on? Connect to CAN Select LI then L52 and it will work. I think Pylontech is more of a problem than Growatt.

I am told they Dyness is a partnership breakup some time back from Pylontech , A friend of mine was going to go with Pylontech asked me my thoughts, I then told him the 10 year warranty is not worth the paper its written on and gave him my story that took place this week, he wanted 6 x US3000C but has now changed his order to 3 X 5.1kW Dyness they should be up and running early next week, So cannot comment I have not used them, Another old friend of mine wanted 12 X US3000C large property two houses and small business, he has cancelled the Pylontech's and now looking at 4 X 9.6 kW Dyness but has not placed the order yet. So that's only about R 342,000 that is not going Pylontech's way, nothing to them, but if that's how they honor warranties that's what they get mate.

Warning Pylontech 10-Year Warranty is not worth the paper it's written on, and all the Protection they refer to in the manual does not protect the battery, Beware people The battery is showing BMS internal fault expect to pay $300 for a new board, this product is not what the manual states it is, the protection they boast of does not protect.

Yes, you do your own research and decide that this product looks like the right way to go and then this happens 18 months down the line, And it is the US3000C the at the time the New improved bla bla bla, and for 18 months never one problem. And have put it all back same inverter same network cable same settings for the BMS and its running perfect. So hence the reason for my first post. The warranty is not worth the paper its written on. Beware folks.
