Assuming a gaussian distribution, it would mean that you end up with closer matched sets (3 in parallel will reduce variance). It should also theoretically reduce MTTF, but there might be factors in play that separate theory from practice (like the cells being in close proximity, with the same balancer etc.). Another think I have been wondering about is that you should have a lower failure rate with 2nd life cells - having filtered for infant mortality.
November 20, 20214 yr Author 3 times as many connections - connections are a high failure point , larger cells might enable better usage of available volume - its all a compromise - You could go for tiny 6AH cells and really get a good distribution function of cell capacity
