I want to warn everyone about Suntrix.co.za or Suntrix Green Energy…apparently in Bloemfontein. I paid for 4 x Canadian 405w panels in December which they assured me were in stock. The delivery never happened, and I was told lie after lie. When we agreed that they would refund me they even sent me proof of bank transfer, which of course never happened.
When I bought the panels there was only one review on Hello Peter.

EDIT: Amazingly, after posting here and another forum I was refunded in full today...

This company is a fraud and a scammer beware.  I ordered 3 x inverters beginning of December.  Delivery never happened.  Then they told me another branch took their stock and I needed to wait till more stock came in. Eventually after waiting 6 weeks I canceled the order and asked for a refund, I was told no problem and would have it in a few days. They then sent me 2 x proof of payments which were fictitious. Money never arrived.  Empty promises from Dylan Mbete. Big fraudster. Big scam. Have to use layers to get answers and money back.

Dylan Mbete is a fraudster and they con people.

our company is currently in the process of suing them and hopefully have the operation shut down as we have numerous statements and declarations from about 12 people and companies who will assist in taking them down.

please do not buy from these scammers and opt for cash on delivery.

Beware of Suntrix. We have also paid in full for solar panels, which we have not received. We were promised a refund, which has not arrived. There was even a proof of payment supplied but still no funds were received. Please do not support them.

What recourse do we the consumers have if you have been sold fake solar panels?

I have been scammed : supplier sold counterfeit q-cells panel

Not much recourse if it's a dodgy/fake/scam supplier...
The legit suppliers will not knowingly sell you fake panels, they will not risk their reputation especially in the current high demand phase.

***SUNTRIX *** Buyer Beware *** Caveat Emptor *** STAY AWAY, They are just plain thieves. Purchased a Kodak 5.12KWh battery in Dec 2022 for R32496.19. It Never  arrived, Many excuses, then refunded R7000 on the 21st January 2023 - And NOTHING from them ever since. (They still owe us a balance of R25496.19). Will be pursuing other legal avenues this year.
