Bluefronted
Last year March i bought a Sunsynk 8kw Inverter for just under R35k incl Vat , I see the price a year later has increased by around 20%. Hubble 5.5kWh last year just under R25k , a year later a 30.5% increase. Dammn , are all brands having such increases ?

Wait until you see by what % electronic components used to build all our nice gadgets have gone up. The ZAR vs $ moved from R14.50 to R18.55 in 1yr. AndrewJdc
8kw sunsynk inverter up by R1,4k from last month. Sunsynk batteries up by R1k. Heard someone saying the best time to have invested in solar was 3years ago and the next best time is now. GreenFields
Well, Eskom's up by 18.65%. This year. Almost makes you wonder if they set the increases in line with inverter prices. Nexuss and Antonio de Sa

Not just inverters and batteries, but all the circuit breakers, surge protectors etc.

Wish it was 2012/13 rates of R6.8 to R7.3 to the USD A rate we will never ever see again. It seems R20 is on target to be reached. That was one of the previous spikes and those in the know felt that's where the Rand would go to in future.
