Hi forum,

I have had my batteries installed for around 1 1/2 months and I have 59 cycles on the one battery and 47 cycles on the other, is this a lot? I’m concerned that the batteries will need replacement quite soon…pls help

Yes and they’ve been installed for 47 days, my question is with this amount of cycling won’t that decrease the battery life? I already have 59 cycles on pack 1 and 47 cycles on pack 2. Is this normal?

At that cycle rate you should get to about 13.9 years to 6000 cycles.
Nothing to be worried about at this rate :)

The more important question is how are are you making the batteries work, high charge and discharge rates and depth of discharge is where most of the damage happens.
As @Nexuss suggests is what are your charge and discharge rates :)

The seplos bms counts a cycle at every 20% DOD so it counts around 4x faster than it should. No real problem, it won't affect your battery life.

Hi I'm in JHB. Have this battery. Seems my motherboard has blown. Is there anywhere near Randburg where I can take this battery?
