August 14, 20232 yr at that price it will be a hard sell, recently I saw a lot of ads for 500 - 550w panels for R2300 -R2800( JA, Canadian, Jinko) per panel. it seems as if the prices crashed.
August 20, 20232 yr Author I updated the price (not neg). Sold as a package for all 16 panels. Edited August 21, 20232 yr by Induna info update

I would like to see prices for R4.44/W incl VAT new. There is not 1 panel on Powerforum Store that is even close to that price and the only place I see R4.44/W is at wholesale price (Segen Solar) for larger panels. (I do have an account at Segen so I know the wholesale pricing) Also, given the density of the panel, the price per watt differs depending on the size of the panel. A 545W panel has a much lower R/W than a 345W panel. Go to Powerforum Store, check their prices for their different panels and do the math. These panels sold for R6.90/W, so I think my price is not unreasonable at all.

I have personally bought Jinko 550W panels from Leroy Merlin last week for R2399 per panel. That works out at R4.36/W for brand new Tier 1 panels. And on top of that, they charge only R65 for delivery. Hardly even worth putting petrol and going with your bakkie to collect. Oh and besides that, they have 6 months return policy. So, if I see something even cheaper, I can still return them and buy elsewhere, if they haven't been installed. Would you like to see the invoice? But anyway, good luck with the sale. Cost to high for mounting more smaller panels Even my small 270W or 330W are not easy to find. Add to it the 25%tax rebate one can get on new panels. Panel prices have dropped big time since June. Just my 2c. Edited August 21, 20232 yr by Scorp007

They sold out last week, so when I saw a few were back last night I bought them all. And I checked again now and they have another 4 listed: Jinko Solar Panel Mono-Crystalline 555W | LEROY MERLIN South Africa And the best part was they only charged me R119 shipping (they scale up instead of multiplying the cost for one). Shipping from SegenSolar etc cost more They also have these Taurus Solar Panel Mono-Crystalline 144v 450w | LEROY MERLIN South Africa (btw they aren't 144v ) Edited August 21, 20232 yr by TRINITRON

So R 6750 for 4 panels.
