A 5kWh battery may, with my loads possibly give me 10hours after the sun goes down, now if I opt for a 10.4kWh am hoping for double or slightly under or till the sun comes up in the morning meaning by then I'm likely to be at maybe 90-95% DoD... being ambitious though. That said, does anyone have experience with the Magneto EVO200-48v206Ah LifePo4 10,4kWh battery perhaps running it with a Sunsynk 5kW inverter and how it has performed? Am looking at the price and it's quite attractive on @Powerforum Store . Secondly does anyone know who to contact and their experience in relation to battery settings and their after-sales support?

They clearly specify it does work (comms wise) with Sunsynk, so no problems there. 

Same doc also specifies the charging voltage nl. 56V. Just use those setting on the Sunsynk, and it should be OK. 

PS, don't have this battery, but price wise, I would go for it if I had to buy 10kW, nice wall mount architecture, overall a much better looking battery than the standard rack mount batteries out there.

From a warranty perspective, surely that lies with @Powerforum Store, IIRC.

@Sidewinder I hear you about warranty issues being with @Powerforum Store but ideally one always generally wants something reliable in the first place. Not having the battery whilst it's being "looked at" or replaced under warranty is always the worst case scenario as one may be in the dark during load shedding times. Also on @Powerforum Store it doesn't mention the price of the wall mounting or where to get it or if the price is inclusive, though it suggests so. It would be good if @Powerforum Store had a separate section for mentioning ancillary accessories & pricing per each product range @Energy-Jason

@Energy-Jason no axe to grind at all with @Powerforum Store. Unfortunately I've had a major problem with FNB bank and up to now they haven't even refunded back my money but just filled with excuses which is greatly frustrating and infuriating. I've now had to engage a solicitor to get to the bottom of their stories, excuses and promises. I'm finding @Powerforum Store a good source for reasonable prices and support and my reputation has since taken a knock which am also NOT HAPPY with. Once all is sorted, am still keen to make a purchase with them. So when I bring up things it's for purposes of suggestions in order to aid improvement, where possible, NOT to paint them in a bad light, as I have not had any bad experience with them at all.

The after Sales support from Magneto Energy is Excellent however the installer that installs the system is crucial and needs to understand the product he installs for example Firmware updates on both the battery and the inverter needs to be done on installation this is part of the commissioning process the Installer can contact Magneto Energy tech team directly for any special requirements or settings to work with whichever inverter is installed also all manufacturers require a Installations or Master Installations electrician to install the product this means a Red Seal electrician that has had training in DC Power and Solar related installations. 

The Evo Product is a very very new Product in the market and Magneto Energy is giving us one of them to test and review along with their transformer based backup inverter. 

However the product looks very good on paper and is also aesthetically pleasing.
