Featured Replies

Hi, which invert do I choose? Anyone using any of the following:

Mecer Sol-i-ax-11m

Axpert max twin 11kw

Axpert max e 11kw

Rct axpert mx2 11kw

Rct axpert mx2 twin 11kw

Need info on problems, ease of use etc.

These are all part of the same family and design.

In this price range I would rather go for a Luxpower SNA.

Deye, Solis S6 or Luxpower LXP when budget allows it.

Stay away from any of the 11kW Axperts they have some bugs in the firmware. If you do buy an axpert rather stick to Kodak. The Solis range of inverters is well recommended as their support is good & you won't wit 6 weeks for a repair if ever required. 3 days max & they don't repair they will replace with a new one.

If the deye/ Sunsynk is on your radar once again support is king & time of repair time is shorter with Deye.

Good luck you have lots of.choices to make.

Think I am leaning towards the Solis s6 8kw pro then I can use my pylontechs with it.

In all honesty it's the exact same device as the Deye & Sunsynk. It's rebadged in my opinion but their support strategy is better than the rest.

Are you sure about that? It does not look the same or have the same user interface (the solis does not have the graphic display). Also it's not certified by the same authority, which would be strange if it's the same device because that would be an unnecessary expense. AFAIK, Solis makes their own inverters, they don't rebadge, or at least they are the OEM, others rebrand their inverters?

I think Steve may be more leaning/referring to the form factor and functionality when he made that statement :)
As for support, I agree with Steve 110% on that, way better than any other brand currently available in SA.
