I think what Steve is trying to say that if en when you get a problem with your battery/Batteries you can still have power during the day when solar is available. I am not aware of any other inverter that can do that.

My Opinion it that there is only one Earth. If you install lighting rods this should also be connected to your main Earth.

The correct way is via an change over. The change over can be hardwired or equipped with a socket that is capable to handle the amps. Some inverter struggle with generator power and will disconnect. Normally putting a small load on generator before connecting to inverter helps with this.

Anything plugged into a socket is seen as a temporary installation and doesn't need a COC.

You will need to change these settings.

Just check if your charging current is changing on inverter. If it does then it is working correctly. As you can see it shows recommended discharge/charge as 37A but on inverter it is 110Amp.

Hi have 3 Us3000c batteries and Solar assistant says recommended charge/discharge 37amp but if I look in the inverter settings it is changing as the state of charge changes. When Low COC it is normally 110Amps and will decrease when above 90%.

Ensure that everything is properly earthed. Install arrestors on AC en DC side. Nothing is Lightning proof.

First thing is to try and get the battery to talk to the inverter. If unable use the settings provided by freedom one.

I few things to think about. At what time is you batteries full. If you add 1 more your array my not be able to fully charge 3 of them. If you what to add panels I would split it 6S2P config.

I would contact both suppliers an inquire about an update. I have seen old Microcare MPPT being updated to accommodate new tech.

The Microcare MPPT is a standalone.

I would look at Solar Assistant to connect to inverter.

I f I am not mistaken both inverter and MPPT can be changed to accommodate Lithium.

You will blow your inverters MMPT

Just my 2 cents. The only thing you score is less current drawn but it takes longer to boil. I use an normal kettle, it uses 2kw but only for +-2 min.

I also have 12 x 335W panels connected. Getting between 2300w and 2500w. 2 days ago I got 3kw for about 2 hours🤔 Running 3S4P Drives me crazy🥴

What config are you running on the King. 2 Series or 3 Series? I want to test changing to 2 Series but it is quite a job changing 12 panels wiring.

On the 545W panels I will only connect 2 in Series. The VOC of the 545W panels are to high and will/can damaged the inverter.
