  1. If I am not mistaken these inverters only have comms to Pylontech batteries. Look at Solar Assistant or similar for better control and monitoring via internet.
  2. Look at getting the Solar assistant system. It can Communicate with the inverter and battery. It will control your inverter and you will also be able to monitor and change settings via internet.
  3. Kodak off grid inverters are unable to feed back to the grid.
  4. Connecting the strings in Series in the combiner box will increase your wire runs and may increase current resistance. That is why I said isn't not ideal. 8 in Series will work. Please ensure that your DC arrestors are able to handed the voltage.
  5. I would think the best would be to remove comms cable and set inverter to user setting for batteries. You just need to use the correct settings.
  6. Earth Leakage with Overload Protection is regarded as an MCB(Green and White lever type) No need for a additional MCB if one uses that type of E/L. I use an E/L before and after my inverter. Haven't had nuisance trips accept when my toaster acted up.
  7. If you have a solar combiner box you can series your strings there if you cant do it on the roof. Not ideal but would work until you can change it.
  8. With the current problems that Hubble are having I don't think they will send any batteries for testing. Maybe when they have all there issues sorted.
  9. It sounds as if there is 1 or 2 phases off on the Ht side of the Transf or Minisub. Nice why of burning all the electrical equipment in your hose. My one friends on a farm regularly has that issue. As soon I am able I am going to install a Over/Under voltage relay with Contactor to protect the house.
  10. If I am not mistaken you will need a new comms cable between the inverter and the us2000c batt. The pinout aren't the same.
  11. What does the wiring look like on the load side. All the Phases to 1 common point and them feeding all the loads?
  12. Install vent at bottom of door and computer fan at top into ceiling to exhaust. Then soundproof doors.
  13. They King is also able to blend. Only has a 150VDC MPPT
  14. Ok so you are using the user settings. Then it will stay the same.
  15. I see on my system that the Charging current is changing on the inverter. It seems the BMS is in control of that. If the comms between batt and Inverter is in place this should be the case.
  16. What about over spec the solar array. Your inverters should be fine with clipping the current on sunny days and increase production during bad weather. Then add the batteries.
  17. Hi Stef. It seems that the comms between the 2 batteries aren't working. You said that one battery is almost depleted. They should work together and depleted as one. Regarding your other concern look at getting a Raspberry Pi with Solar assistant or something the same to utilize your system to its max.
  18. I believe you will lose your warranty if you change any settings in the BMS.
  19. What is the change that the software can be updated via a PI connected to the system. Say I am running Solar assistant or SMH?
  20. I have an RCD before and after my inverter. The reason why one puts an RCD on the inverter output is to protect all circuits against earth faults. Just remember that a normal breaker will only trip on its rating which may be 10 or 20 Amp. RCD will trip on leakage of 30mAmp.
  21. Start with 50v and see what it does. Then when it goes back to grid check battery status. If enough capacity is still available you can lower it. I won't go below 49v
  22. Maybe sell the us2000 and buy 2 Up5000?
  23. If I am not mistaken the BMS with override any settings regarding charging if the Comms between battery and Inverter is working. Correct me if I am wrong
  24. Also running two Us3000C batteries without any issues. Really a good battery. I will buy them again. 48V Pylontech Battery Performance 0320.pdf
