  1. Mines are installed in a concrete basement with a 90min fire resistant door. Smoke detector is also in place. If anything catches fire, only the basement will be damaged and I can sleep peacefully every night
  2. It is not microinverters what you have to look for. You need optimizers. it's not the same thing. Optimizers work on low voltage DC while microinverters work on high voltage AC. 3. Why not using standard panels and optimizers on shaded ones?
  4. The low production due to partial shading can be mitigated with optimizers installed on the affected panels.
  5. The batteries should work with the SNA5000. Just check protocol and cable pinout. luxpower-compatible-list(LXP-3-6KSNA-ACS3600)230826.pdf (luxpowertek.com)
  6. You need to check configuration parameters on the inverter to select power supply and battery charging priorities. Maybe they are not properly configured. Read them and post the full list here.
  7. Same story for me. I had a faulty unit and there was no solution until I contacted Pylontech directly. Then, the vendor suddenly reacted and I got a replacement without a single question.

  10. I use several. I usually choose supplier based on price. Delivery time depends on origin. If the goods are coming from Chine, it takes about 3 weeks. If the supplier has a warehouse in Europe you can get items in 5-7 days.

  13. In the northern hemisphere it is not much better. In my area, 2728wh/m2 today, 2935wh/m2 tomorrow and 2932wh/m2 on Saturday, just starting the summer 😆 Weather is crazy...
  14. What would be the right order to update? First MCU and then Main or opposite. I have a standard King running 2.66a on MCU and 71.97 on main.

That is going to be complicated becasue it is a high voltage mppt. It won't work under 90v. You cannot change that by software. You will need to rearrange panels to reach minimum voltage.
  16. A minimum water flow is necessary to keep the geyser on. Maybe the water is so hot that hot water flow is too low in the mixer tap to keep gas burning. Try to set water temperature to a lower setpoint, like 50deg C or so and see if behaviour changes. This will force you to use more water from the hot circuit to have the same temperature out from the mixer tap.
  17. another option for sunny places: Solar air heater Heating Panel Dehumidifier Heat Pump Ventilation Conditioning | eBay
  18. It is important to know if the system has ever worked or not. If it is a sudden failure, maybe any of the comm ports is damaged on the inverter or the battery.
  19. Write an email straight to Pylontech service dept. explaining the problem and tell them battery s/n. Distributors are usually making decisions on warranty themselves. Pylontech will contact the distributor directly and they will honour the warranty. Did you register your batteries on Pylontech website? Sign Up battery-Service-Pylon Technologies Co., Ltd.
  20. This is the nominal power value under STC (Standard Testing Conditions) meaning 1000w/m2 and 25ºC. If the irradiance is lower or the temperature of the cells is higher, the panel will not produce the same power. Usually, you never get maximum power in summer because the cells get very hot. It is easier to get maximum power in spring and fall or just after a cloud edge. Sometimes you may even see power values exceeding the maximum nominal if the weather is cold and sunny.
