  1. Seems odd to have you buy something extra when they could have just extended the CT cable using ethernet cabling. It sounds like the CT was installed incorrectly; either its facing the grid (and not the inverter) OR it was installed onto the wrong pins. Either way they need to come fix it for you
  2. This is absolutely spot on - else your MPPT may get fried. On your app you should be able to see some graphs that show PV and SOC - if you are using Solarman then they would look something like this >
  3. Are you able to share with us your graphs for PV and battery charge? Often we can infer things from them.
  4. How are the panels wired (how many per string into each MPPT) and what orientation is the roof? What % SOC are your batteries set to during the day? Is there any shading (even partial) during the day
  5. here's mine for comparison - totally normal
  6. Hi Riaan - have been getting the same error even after the software upgrade. Could the SPDs be faulty and need replacing?
  7. Ah ok - that's clearer. Is there a setting in the Goodwe to not export to Non-Essentials?
  8. Is that a problem / question / issue?
  9. No requirement to register the system.
  10. Won't you need them for firmware updates
  11. Do you have a view as to what temps are being recorded by the inverter? This screen on the web view can help:
  12. What does your grid settings pages look like? It could be that the grid volts or frequency is going lower than the setting on the inverter and disconnecting
  13. Was getting similar errors on an install, had to upgrade the firmware. Try doing that and see if that helps
  14. Which battery and what are your settings for menu option 3 (battery) on the inverter
  15. Also you need to restart your battery when you make the change just to be sure and ensure the dipswitches are all set to down
  16. Cable needs to be on the IN port on the battery not the Out
  17. General answer is yes it will work - BUT we need more information. How much power do you use in a day / month? What other items do you want to power? Geyser? Stove? etc.
  18. are your inverter and home assistant connected? if so then read the grid frequency / voltage then fire off a notification in HA. If not then you could have a device on non-essentials connected with a shelly - if the shelly loses power then the assumption is the grid is down and fire off a notification
  19. What are your settings?
  20. mzezman replied to Annuchka's topic in Inverters
When you took this screenahot was there loadshedding / a fault in your area? Can you take a picture of your inverter overview screen, its the one that shows grid, pv, battery etc
  21. With an investment of approx 3.5k you can get a solar assistant monitor plus battery cable which will tell you number of cycles per battery
  22. What components do you have for automations? Smart speakers?
  23. You can set it to 0w and see if that helps... as long as this wont trip your meter
  24. Have you tried the online store? At least it'll be brand new
  25. when you pull those loads what does it show on the inverter? does it show the correct numbers? Edit: it could be that the pool pump etc are wired onto non-essentials and thus wouldn't show up in the app.
