What make of battery is this?
Looks like an OEM Whitelabel, seen a few brands utilize this shell like Shoto

Urgent: Why does inverter not accept my generator as supply? (White Sacolar 5kVA Inverter)
Great,not many inverters do!

Urgent: Why does inverter not accept my generator as supply? (White Sacolar 5kVA Inverter)
"Stable" is relative, you might need to ramp your Mains charge amps down, and use something to spin up the generator load to get it stable at load, then change over and start increase your charge rate slowly

Why am I using more pre paid electricity after installing an inverter?
Yes There are power losses between charging and discharging, and the inverters also tend to have a % of power loss over direct use. 10% tends to be a fair average from my experience

Small home setup
Axpert styles like these tend to be a decent upgrade,I recently sorted one out for my mum - fair warning though their fans tend to run always and can get loud https://www.takealot.com/fivestar-1-2kva-1000w-pwm-12v-solar-hybrid-inverter/PLID92602129 Add a 12V Lithium 200AH battery, set of DC battery cables,DC battery fuses

2kW Inverter Generator Load Sharing and SunSynk Inverter
Ah Well, while technically correct, that's a bit of administrative overhead though,so i'll stand by the original premise🤣

Kool Energy / Mecer 1 / 2kW not charging to 100%
They have those same trolley units isn't it? OEM issue mayhaps

Dualsun Hybrid Panels
Microinverters are mostly aimed at the MAXIMUM solar savings when there is a mains source since they individually track the mppt and provide optimal AC watts,as opposed to having a single shaded panel nuking a DC output string

How to protect Inverter from generator damage
Quite the opposite, disconnecting and reconnecting is exactly the problem

How to protect Inverter from generator damage
Did you set the inverters to take minimal AC charging power initially? Try a running a decently sized load on the Generator you can throttle back like a small power drill. Start genny, give it a minute to heat up,run drill gradually amped up till Generator output throttles up then connect your inverter What tends to happen is the generator throttling up and down surges the power ever so slightly and the inverters disconnect and reconnect constantly as it assumes the grid input is unstable

Kool Energy / Mecer 1 / 2kW not charging to 100%
There seems to be a few issues with these units from not charging to losing battery % every charge to switching off randomly

RCT Axpert VM 1000w Inverter
Hi,thanks for the link I actually took Takealot for the ease-of-return if it performed like a dog AND I got it at the 2k cheaper price, seems I grabbed the last cheapy😆

RCT Axpert VM 1000w Inverter
Mom needed a smaller setup for her place to keep a few things running, and I haven't seen anybody posting details on decent 12v Axpert-type inverters so pulled the trigger and ordered this from TA: https://www.takealot.com/rct-axpert-vm-1000va-1000w-inverter-charger-12v-500w-pv/PLID91107744 I'm pairing this with a 200AH Mecer 2nd Life. All In Cost for cabling, battery fuses,Inverter and Battery ~R15k for 2.5kWh (will be using 80% DoD so 2kWh usable) Bottom: Takes a Kettlecord connector and has a normal glass fuse on Input side RS485 and USB-B comm ports on the side. 500w Solar 102VDC Max from panels 15-80Vdc MPPT Specs: Charge Mode details:

- Axpert type inverter with Hubble lithium
You can link via Voltage Mode USR to the inverter, and connect the battery to Solar Assistant for more stats yes- Solar assistant just stops working?
Sometimes computers hang,at which point a reboot is all to do- CFE-5100 S 5.12kWh Lithium battery wifi connection with CF energy app
Without enough information sounds like it's working as intended Unless you are DEAD SURE there is 0 chance that any clouds or anything might cut the solar available in SBU mode the battery will be used as a buffer to provide power when there are dips in solar production. Only way to prevent that is to set to SUB mode which will use grid instead *Also depends on the inverter, some don't "blend" partially,it's an all-or-nothing type of affair - Axpert type inverter with Hubble lithium
