February 21, 20224 yr Hi Guys A Friend of mine purchased a 5 Star re-branded Felicity Solar 10Kw battery for use with his Sunsynk 5kw inverter As far as I am aware the battery only has a RS485 port and he is unable to get the inverter to speak to the battery. I managed to download a manual for the battery and it says that the pinout for the communications port is Which seems to indicate that it may have a CanBus connection as well. According to the specs I have, the Sunsynks seem to have the following pinouts on their ports. Do you think it would be worthwhile making up a cable to try out the CANBUS & RS485 connections to see if they will work? Canbus Bat. Pin 7 - Inverter Pin 5 & Bat pin 8 - Inv pin 4 RS485 Bat PIn 5 Invrt pin 1 & Bar Pin 6 - Invrtr pin 2 Bat Grnd 4 to Invrtr pin 3

Let us know. Hello @Sc00bs we do not sell Felicity solar batteries and we are not affiliated in any way to thepowerstore our store is called the www.powerforum-store.co.za So unfortunately we cannot offer you any support on the product bought from thepowerstore you will have to contact thepowerstore directly so they can provide you with aftersales backup and support. Please let us know if you have any success. We are aware that their look is similar to ours but we have no affiliation with thepowerstore in any way or means and distance our selves from them in every way possible ! See attached the batteries are approved to use with Sunsynk however the supplier of the battery needs to provide support on how to make the battery work with your inverter. This is what we do as suppliers of products we supply to our clients where we make sure a installer that knows the products are available for technical support and installation of the product. Please note that all products sold need to be installed by a qualified installer with the support of or by an Installation Electrician or a Master Installation electrician if not the whole installation is illegal and all warranties are null and void. I hope this clear things up. Sunsynk_BatteryCompatibility_v13_English.pdf

February 16, 20233 yr Author @Powerforum StoreCan I perhaps suggest that you guys add a link to your store on either the header or footer of your forums page so that there is no confusion. The link to your store almost seems to be a bit hidden away
February 16, 20233 yr @Powerforum Store Yeah i would suggest a link in the main menu and a logo link to the store right at the top next to the forum logo
