June 28, 20224 yr Go ahead.... make my day... with 8kWh LFP on 5kW sunken synk & 4-odd kWp panels, I could disconnect the extension lead to the neighbour and not have any issues... but this is something that should cost Eksdom... every home with an alarm has probably been replacing the SLA battery for the alarm at a rate of once per year, if not more, this should be paid for by Eksdom, since the alarm designs didn't take the "africa" way of providing 'lectrik into account... luckily no alarm here and now, it wouldn't be an issue, since we got power, period.... only need to consider getting a 1 or 2kW generator for the once or twice a year, when too much cloud cover (luckily very rare here) could cause some grief...
