I stay in CT and looking for a reputable company that i can buy my sunsynk battery and inverter from

there seems to be multitude of online companies with varying prices but not all of them have feedback or reviews on hello Peter etc 

just wanting to get some names before splashing out so much money

I cannot help, if you're looking for a physical location in CT. But I have purchased (my sunsynk 5kw inverter and battery and now panels) from the Powerforum Store, and have had good service each time.

I can vouch for PT Online, The Powerforum Store, e-Glow and  Megastar Products

 

Usually what I do first is Look At The Price of the item then I google the address and phone numbers and if there is more than one company with the same address and phone number I start to wonder and look a bit deeper e.g. website registration, Hello Peter and Google reviews, if the price is too good then usually it is a scam, if there are only cellphone numbers and or a contact us form that you have to fill in to contact them be a bit wary or no physical address, it can also be a scam.

I've been looking at combos and installations from Solar Advice at solar.co.za. Are they a reputable company? Can anyone vouch for them?

when i checked back in the morning to get a quote it had gone up substantially making it more expensive than other places unfortunately

Yes, I bought my Inverter, 1 battery and 16 panels from them. (Midrand) 

I can recommend The Powerforum Store. I purchased most of my kit from them and all perfect.

they gave me quotes but i like the fact that PV store is also local to me and prices little better than power forum who shot up overnight

i also save over R1k on the delivery costs

guess it all helps somewhere
