I don't see any option to do step 2:

2. Register your old batteries for testing.

Would be nice if the max credit you can receive was listed per battery model. That would give an indication of whether it would be worth my time to even request a trade-in quote or not. It would also be more efficient for the business because then they don't have to make unnecessary callouts.

Book A Ticket

When you book the ticket just mention you are applying for the Fidus Upgrade and battery trade in options on powerforum.co.za

You will find the Book a ticket closer to the bottom of the Solar Deity Page I have updated the instructions to follow on my main post.

It is very simple and easy there is a process however.

What did you do with them? Landfill? And where did you buy them from?

I will also never touch or recommend them again. Similar experience. No support. Supplier said I must sort it out with importer. Solar Deity said my slave battery was overcharged? Battery was recycled by Solar Deity. Basically had to give the others away!

Quite happy with our Pylons, however with regards to your offer:

1. I cannot find the FIDUS listed in the powerforum store, what is the price of this unit?

2. As mentioned, an indication of trade in values would help ...

Here is the link to the battery it includes the cable kit and wheel kit this is the retail price however this price may change later.

The trade in values will be based on the cycle count of the old packs they have an battery analyser that they run on the battery to determine the value they will credit.

Do I understand this correctly: A current owner of a Pylontech battery must ship the battery to Solar Deity of his own cost, then they will test the battery (Is there a cost to this???), and then while they have custody of the battery they will make an offer of a discount for the purchase of a new battery? So, if the owner does not agree to this "discount", then he/she must again pay for shipping it back (plus packaging, plus other service charges???).

May I suggest that Solar Deity be totally transparent on this "deal" of theirs, and disclose ALL costs, and "small print" right here in this Forum so that there can not be any "misunderstandings" of terms and conditions later on...
