You can bring dead batteries back to life after a failed firmware update without the help of Pylontech Support. If you turn on the small main switch while holding down the red start button, only the boot loader starts.

First you download the package with firmware and the flash program:

Unzip “Firmware update Pylontech US2000C_3000C V3_0.zip”.
Turn off the battery
Call “Update Tool.exe” in the “Upgrade Tool V1.0.9” folder
Choose serial port
Leave baud rate 115200
Click Immediate Update
click Connect
click Browse
Select firmware file: NT1.8+ST2.8.zip

(If you know what you are doing, you can also choose bin-files,
e.g. Us_c_Nt_V1.8_Crc.bin for the newer US3000C)
Start bootloader (press and hold red button and turn on main switch)

When finished, turn off the main switch, turn it on again, press the start button.

If “Unknown Input String” comes up when you click program, unfortunately you can’t select the
zip file (e.g. NT1.8+ST2.8.zip) with Browse, but must first unpack the zip and
select the appropriate bin file (e.g. Us_c_Nt_V1.8_Crc.bin).

it seems the (unnecessary) update attempts of far too many people caused too much trouble for pylontec, so they removed the battery view program successfully from all sources!
I found zero download possibilities with google in 30 min.

I have a FTDI USB to RS485 adapter connected to the master of my  3 identical pylontec Clones from TAB,
they are actually 100% clones US3500C  R4836

The RX and TX lights are flashing a lot and MultiSiBControl 1.7  says Voltronic and Pylontec connected but shows no data!
The MultiSib has a Console window but whatever I send to the pylontec I get now answer.
The cable I tested in several configurations and it is now in one of 2 configurations weher Multisib says connected.
 

Can someone please share  a link so I can download Pylontech battery view software.

I will receive 3 US3000C and I would like to use this software.

Looks like v2.1 is for the 2000C/3000C using the newer chipset. 

Would be nice if Pylontech issued release notes...

release note is a pdf included in zip archive

There are no release notes there. That's just simply a list of instructions for installing the firmware. It would be nice to know what changes are actually made to the firmware to determine whether it's worth the risk of an update!

At least you can find what versions & for what types of chipset are designed.

Hi all, 

Just purchased a new US3000C to add to my bank and it has the newer chipset with v2.2 firmware on it. Does anyone have this firmware file as I see the effekta link below only has v2.1

I have tried both Segen and Pylontech and each time was given v2.1 even though I specifically asked for v2.2 as I could see my newest US3000C has v2.2. 

Hi, if you are still interested I have got fw 2.2. (US_E2_V2.2_Crc.bin)  for my US2000C direct from Pylontech.
