Hello, There is the following setup: 3 x EASUN SV4 in parallel same firmware 56.14 and same panels config for all( 7 in series for each). 350V , When panels of the third one are connected using DC breaker and the sun is shining , the charge current increase to 20A limit , after 4 to 10 minutes ,Error 72 appears and output of inverters is disable. If panels of the third inverter are disconnected using the DC beaker, everything works fine, and there is No error. I checked the wiring of parallel cables for communication and current and everything is OK. Each inverter is working fine into SIG mode. Could be an interference issue? Indeed parallel cables are along wi…

Hi all, The deye/sunsync inverters time of use setting, each time slot has a "power" column, is this power column only for battery charge power? Not discharge? My time of use setting is attached. As seen, I do not charge via grid nor gen. I only charge via solar, so I leave the check boxes for grid/gen empty. Using it this way lets me put in the battery percentages at which I switch to grid consumption. It works well. My only issue is, say at night time there is no solar. Say I am at slot "Time 4" and it is 7pm. Say my battery is 90%. Now I set the "power" column to 900 because I want my battery to supply 900w. If my house is using 1.5kw, then I want my battery to supply …

Hello everyone, I have been using a small 3.6 kW hybrid inverter without any issues until now. I recently decided to expand my system and purchased a 10.2 kW (dual output) inverter from Alibaba, which appears to be unbranded. I connected approximately 6 kW of solar panels and a 105 Ah 16S Lifepo4 battery that I built myself. However, I am encountering a problem where, when the energy demand from the solar panels rapidly increases, the panels get disconnected and the energy from the battery is used instead. If I'm connected to the grid, it will draw a lot of energy from the grid. The panels will then slowly reconnect and start providing energy again. This is…

Hi everyone, I am facing the notorious MPPT stuck bug on my Voltronic Axpert Max II inverter and am looking for a firmware update or a patched version to fix it. My current system specifications: Inverter: Axpert Max II Main CPU Firmware: 75.01 Secondary CPU (HMI) Firmware: 39.06 PV Array: 11 panels in a single series string (Vmp is around 37V per panel, total Vmp under load is approx. 407V). The Problem: Even though my total string voltage under load should ideally sit around 400V, the MPPT tracker regularly drops down and gets stuck at exactly 90V (the absolute minimum PV threshold). When this happens, PV production drops to almost zero (10-50W). A manual PV disconnect/…

Hi maybe you could help me. I am trying to repair my Growatt inverter that is showing error 08 when changing the batteries. Something on the main board is pushing high voltage back to the solar output via the sense resistors. I have removed the diode and igbt on the inverter and I still see 70v on the solar output with nothing connected and only running on batteries.

"I am facing an issue with my energya MAX-8000 inverter connected to 5 Pylontech UF5000 batteries. The system runs the loads from the batteries until they reach 42V, at which point the batteries shut down. The next day, when the sun rises, the batteries remain in a disconnected state. To initiate charging, I have to manually press the reset button on the batteries. The inverter recognizes the batteries and the installation is correct; however, I suspect the device might need a firmware update, as I am able to edit setting #29 on the device."

Good Day, It has been a minute since any further update status regarding repairing venerable Luxpower LXP hybrid inverter(s). There were initially two non-functional units, but nr. 1 of the 2 were “technically” repaired, if the RSD jumper counts as a repair. While repairs on unit nr. 2 started out relatively well, I cannot for the life of me locate suitable replacement gate drive transformers in the EE13 package. I am having difficulties just acquiring EE13 ferrites and bobbins to begin with. Unless my logic is severely flawed, i.e., an attempt to rewind a matching set of GDTs of sufficient mh, which appears to be proprietary parts to begin with: the manufacturer and par…

So, as others on this forum and online have attested, some Axpert models tend to have noisy fans, with no speed control. They are either on or off, and when on, they are fairly loud. In my case, I don't have a garage or distant room for my installation, so my inverter is installed in close proximity to my bedroom, and the fan noise is somewhat annoying. I've been studying the fan pattern and it is regular as clockwork - the fans come on at 41°C and stay on until the inverter heatsink temperature drops to 31°C. The fans then turn off, and the temperature slowly increases, until the fans come on again at 41°C. This pattern repeats every 10-15 minutes, ad nauseum, and i…

Hey fellow green energy humanoids I was just wondering how people are configuring their SunSynk/Deye SOC schedules these days now that Load Shedding is not such a huge issue. I understand the general idea is to be lower in the mornings and build in the evenings, so something along these lines, but was interested in what others are doing. 06:00 - 30% 10:00 - 20% 15:00 - 60% 18:00 - 100% 20:00 - 80% 23:00 - 50%

İMAGE3KW 24 VOLT INVERTER FAILURE... 8 MOSFETS AND 2 IGBTs IN THE SYSTEM WERE BURNED OUT. I REPLACED THEM WITH NEW ONES. THE DEVICE IS WORKING, PRODUCING 220 VOLTS NORMALLY, BUT AFTER 10 MINUTES, IT MAKES AN ANNOYING (WINNNNNN) SOUND. THE DEVICE IS NOT GIVING ANY OTHER FAULT INDICATIONS. WHAT COULD BE THE REASON FOR THIS? I CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT. PARTS I REPLACED: IGBT G40T60AK3HD MOSFET NCEP15T14 SG3525 GATE DRIVER, RESISTOR, TRANSISTOR, ZENER DIODES UC3845 INTEGRATED CIRCUITS 2. QUESTION: WHEN TESTING THE IGBT AND MOSFET DRIVERS OF THE DEVICE, AFTER REMOVING THE VERTICAL BOARD, WHICH OPTOCOUPLER'S PINS SHOULD WE SHORT-CIRCUIT AND TEST?IMAGE OR SHOULD WE TEST IT WITHOUT RE…

I have the Sunsynk 8kW inverter that was installed end of 2022. In Apr last year the dongle stopped working and eventually this year I got a new dongle just to find that the new one also don't work. I investigated this and found that there are various reports of the comms board failing which is mostly to do with the C9 capacitor. Some people just cut it out and everything works again. However I am not comfortable with that. I contacted Sunsynk but they advised me to get an installer to test the voltage and then report back to them. My question then is, where can I find an installer around Roodepoort that can assist with something as small as this? I am happy also to ju…

Hi All, I have taken the plunge and installed solar: 1 x 8kw Sunsynk inverter 2x 5kwh Sunsynk batteries 12 x 545w JAS PV panels The work mode I would like to configure is for the system to provide solar power to the essentials first then if there is spare capacity charge the batteries, then send left over power to the non-essentials. I have ticked "Zero Export" and "Prioritise load" on the inverter and in the sunsynk app the " Limit to Home" option is selected. See attached pictures. But according to the Power Flow diagram some power is from solar (3Watt) , (43Watt) is produced from the batteries , 790Watt is send to the Grid and nothin…

Good day Power Forum members. My inverter for no apparent reason just stopped charging the batteries. Its out of warrantee and unfortunately Goodwe is not having it to assist in repairing the unit. Every else works 100% as it should. Feed to grid from solar OK Discharge batteries when not enough solar or loss of grid . OK only issue no battery charging not from grid and not from solar. Has anyone issues like this before and if so how to i get my inverter to charge batteries again. Its the Gen 2 Goodwe ( Pre 2018 no ARM) Yellow Inverter I have even downgraded the firmware .... to vs 2 and back to vs 07x ( latest) Nothing…
