Sudden Temperature Drop
Hi There, I am using a Greenrich UP5000 for nearly 2 years, and this past week I could hear the Sunsynk "beeping" in the night. Rush to the device to see no error or alert. Upon looking into logs and data - I can only see that at the times of the "beeping" the recorded temperature dropped to -100° (obviously not literally). Room temp about 12° Anyone else see this, or experienced this? There was no change to current, SOC or voltage at these times...

Geyserwise loosing temperature fast
My Thoughts: You have a leaking hot tap in the house, and the geyser is being flushed/refilled with cold water continuously. (is the water hot enough to use when it says "25" on the Geyserwise?) If the water is hot, then faulty temp sensor, if the water is cold, see point 1.

Did you come right? I have 1 or 2 if you need?

SunSynk 5kW, 8kW and 12kW latest firmware version
I have just requested an upgrade due to "notification bug". I no longer get alerts when grid disconnect/reconnect. 5Kva SunSynk Current: M:3.3.7.4, S:1.5.1.5, CE.4.2.4 Pending upgrade at the moment - lets see what changes.

Sunsynk app grid notifications
Hey, Any change on this - I used to get both (connect and disconnect) notifications - now I get nothing. I would need to manually go into the app, and check the feeds.

Mixing Batteries on Sunsynk 5Kva
Hello all! As usual - please send me to any existing posts if this is a duplicate. I have a Sunsynk 5Kva, 3.5Kva PV, and a GreenRich up5000 battery. All is well and good working great! (About 1 year old now) I want to add an additional battery for more capacity - Sunsynk 5.32kwh. 1. Is this possible with 2 different (rated) sizes of battery? 2. Is this possible with 2 different brands? 3. is this recommended? Cheers,

Sun Synk 5kW - use for non-critical loads
Huge thanks to @Leshen who helped me with the settings (and some expert explanation) for the SunSynk! Working exactly as I expected!

Sun Synk 5kW - use for non-critical loads
I will test this when I am at home with full sun. I can get the excess PV to power non-essential, however, if all load (essential + non) is in excess of PV production, it starts to draw from the battery. I don't want this. I want it to draw from the grid. Also, what happens, when all load (essential and non) is in excess of the capacity of the Sunsynk unit? ie, load = 8kva (geyser, pool, washing machines, dishwasher ect... ) will it trip out, or start to draw from the grid directly? When I did some tests, It seemed the load was supplemented by the grid, but the inverter was running at 8kva?? I only have a 5Kva unit, so is this just a display/reporting misrepresentation, or am I maxing out the inverter?

Sunsynk non essential load bypass
Without a wiring change or additional change over switch dedicated to your geyser, the system cannot power your non-essentials WITHOUT grid present. However, with grid present, you can "export" your solar to non-essential loads. This is poor wording, as its not really "exporting". I am about to start a thread on this, as I have been playing with this over the last few days.

Tax Incentive for Solar Panels
I am way more interested in reverse feed - net zero grid usage. Anyone have (a new) thread or link to any of that? (CoJ). Cheers,

Looking: 24v or 48v Inverter
Massive thank you to @LoodPyp for helping me out with some of his old working kit! Successfully installed and working keeping some light on at my elderly parents' home!!

Is this a 5KWh battery
No - This is a 3.7Kwh battery. Greenrich UP5000 is the 5Kwh version. You have been quoted on the Greenrich UP3686.

Deye 5KW Hybrid Inverter Running Temperature
I have a 5Kw SunSynk (same same) and mine runs the same temps. However, I do not have fans. Mine is installed in a pantry, with dishwasher and washing machine, so a fair bit of ambient heat. And I have solar installed. However, your BMS is much more of a concern, as your UPS needs to know what the battery is doing. So I would fix that way before the heat!

Jumped on the Sunsynk + Hubble wagon, Am I doing it right?
I use a SunSynk 5Kw with a Greenrich battery, and it floats between 99% and 100% (grid or solar.) It must be something to do with the BMS floating - not over charging. It only happens at 99-100% Check my batter below - I set different SOC minimums for time of day (to reduce my reliance on grid as much as possible.) When set to 80% SOC, its perfect. When set to 100% - its hovers between 99% and 100%.
