On an install worth 50-100k, having a rock solid, reliable monitoring solution for ~3k is a no brianer. Also, it's pretty much fire and forget. Set it up for someone, bookmark the address for them to login via mobile phone browser and you're done. The Sunsynk app, in my humble opinion, has terrible UX and UI

SA solves the app issue and has been far more reliable than the Sunsynk app.

You're not taking into account the time andeffort to replace the batteries each time. I also highly doubt the quality of battery you're getting from you contact for that piece

Both are lead acid batteries. These batteries aren't designed to be discharged so frequently and to low states of charge with our load shedding. What is more suitable is a compatible/drop in Lithium Ion battery, which is significantly more expensive

The 5kw can do 8kw pass through total with grid present. You absolutely did not overload it

Well bms Comms appear to be working fine. Try a cold restart on inverter and batteries and see if that triggers any charging up to 100% SoC
