Have got the Solarman App but don't see the detailed graphs you have, or must one purchase the Pro Solarman App?

Overload protection on Inverter output
Suggest you get a professional to look at your setup, you appear to be walking down a dangerous pathway - putting fuses in an AC circuit??

Cables and Isolator switches incredibly hot
R12000 to rectify the first installers poor workmanship - wow. You are lucky the house didn't burn down. In this solar game there seem to be many chancers out there. As they say "Consumer beware!"

Deye/Sunsynk 5kW MPPT Limited to 9.9A?
My 5kW Sunsynk will only get to a max of 9.9A on each MPPT, one string running at about 280V and the other at about 350Vs - by the way, what program are you using to get all those voltage, amperage graphs.

Essential loads not stable sunsynk SUN-5K-SG01LP1-EU inverter
On my 5kW Sunsynk one doesn't even notice when switching during load shedding. Using 4.8kW on the UPS side is probably pushing the limit for a 5kW inverter

TheoG's Installation - 2 x Sunsynk 5.5kW | 27 x JA 455W | 2 x Bull 6.4kWh

So I think I have trouble coming my way: CTCC wants to replace my Lanys&Gyr meter with a "standard split prepayment meter"
Had the same experience with them - daughter was standing outside the gate and a Elex Khanyisa bloke in a vehicle just hands her a bundle of papers and drives off. On reading one page says they could not gain access to the property to inspect what needs to be done - how pathetic and the city pays for these useless contractors. I still see fun and games with them coming up. Will keep posted.

Thanks for the measurements; it sure looks huge compared to the small keypads used in the split systems in Jhb and Pretoria. Looks like they did a poor job leaving parts of the old meter there. But then Elex Khanyisa has poor reviews on their installations and cutting people off etc.

I am due to go through this process soon and am busy doing major renovations with a new DB board etc; could you please tell me what are the dimensions of this pre paid key pad as need to make a facility for it. Thanks- AC and DC cable wiring CoC
Some amazing expertise here🤔- Solar geyser losing heat at night
I only found this out after seeing the early morning electricity consumption on the new solar data logger.- Solar geyser losing heat at night
Non return valve on pump circulated system given up the ghost after a few years and hot water reverses into panels during the night. This will not happen with ordinary thermo geysers which have the panels below the geyser height. Non return valves available in SA do not like hot water😀😀- Cables and Isolator switches incredibly hot
And crappy ACDC AC Isolator too- Which component is tripping?
If your installer recommended the setup you have then he is obliged to ensure that it works 100%. Insist that he sorts it out and trains you correctly on how the system works and how to monitor it through a smart phone or computer application.- When does it become viable to install solar power
The DA in Cape Town wants you to go solar, but then try and go through their hoops and all to get permission to install and it is an effing joke or maybe they blaming covid for not being in the office to do their dam work. I pity the poor installers trying to make a living with all the red tape etc in the way. Similar trying to buy a car license - Zims here we come!!!- Can I switch my geyser off?
Well then just switch your geyser off at the mains whilst you are on holiday- Pre Paid meters
Yes it detects reverse direction and then trips out.- SSEG commissioning letter
Attached the latest tariffs for City of Cape Town Electricity Consumptive Tariffs (COCT).pdf- SSEG commissioning letter
Your attachment is tariffs for 2017/2018 - rather outdated I would say. - So I think I have trouble coming my way: CTCC wants to replace my Lanys&Gyr meter with a "standard split prepayment meter"
