The law needs to change. You cannot distribute I think is the short of it... I just want to feed back to Eskom for money or even a zero balance... I have lots of space for panels

No you won't be able to sell. If you read the reg's you will see the "own consumption" is the key. As soon as you even give your power to someone else that is illegal. Pity because I see huge benefits to suburbs with microgrids. Can you imagine. Panels everywhere and banks of batteries talking to each other via wifi... Big container sitting next to the main transformer for the suburbs with "tesla/BYD/Pylontech" branding on the side

@gabriel Do you have a diagram of how the panels are wired (with fuse locations and connections between panels). All the way to the inverter... That will help.

Sanity check please? (Behaviour of the MPPT controller in the Axpert MKS 3KVA-48V)
I still would NOT run close to max VOC... like thrashing a car to high rev's - this cannot be good for the engine lifespan. I have used both the Axpert and Infini (on Eskom) and played it safe at all times.

Suggestions 1. Flexible conduit neatly added to below main fixed trunking. 2. I would install thicker PV cable at least around the DB for the 1500w string. You will expand later and so don't want to fiddle around your main system again. 3. Why not run staff off your main system and run a timeswitch for them as you do for the genny hours. That way one battery and system and not extra cabling and monitoring issues. More PV on your side and then an extra Inverter on your system if needed... System looks great Chris - very neat!

Minimum Input voltage for Infini 3kw plus
Quick Update Cloudy this AM but the graph below illustrates my Infini 3+ around sunrise... (3100W of PV 10x 310 is series) I restarted ICC so the graph is a better scale. My Infini reacted as expected. It ignored the Solarpower setting of MPPT on @ 120V and turned the MPPT on @ 150V as expected. Lots of clouds so no real production at all until sun hit panels around 07:33. Note the voltage jump! Cloudy so PV output is very low.

Had a look at my graphs (from ICC) and see when the voltage and amps start reacting on my system. See below... no time to explain but here is the raw data Looks like a smooth ramp of Amps as soon as sun rose (07:17)... I had low load so may rerun this with a higher load tommorrow. It looks like the Infini 3kw plus starts producing from PV very early (around 07:16:30/150V?))

Are they separated into strings? I would string them all in series to make 10x 17.8V VMP and see if they produce... I doubt it as they still won't get to the 250V min requirement for the Infini. BUT - give it a try and maybe there is a little more extra room given the VOC of 21.8V. You actualy need a minimum of 15x 100W (17.8VMP) panels to get the Infini really producing. Regards Mark

"try to testing with input 119V voltage from solar" MPP voltage ranging from 250V-450V. > There is the issue if I understand you correctly. Your PV input needs to be between 250V and 450V. That is why the PV con is flashing. How many panels do you have and what are their specs so we can help you further? Regards Mark

Solar panels on flat roof: Does the angle of the solar panel really matters ?
@Marcb Very easy to make I think. I got some from Rubicon a while back but diy they are no hassle at all. Mine have a slide but they would work even better with square tube (aluminium) that slides one within the other. The pivot point then is on the lower point of the frame. You could drill holes for each setting ( 2x or 4x) and then slide them leg by leg. I can do it alone but it helps with a large array (I have 5 legs per 6 panels) to have some extra hands.
