May 17, 20224 yr Good day to all. Came across this in my final search for a battery. Does anybody own one, and is it any good? Goes for about the same price as a UP5000 from pylontech. But 1kw more, and a display.
May 17, 20224 yr Personally when i am spending this amount of money i would rather go for a well known brand like Pylontech. I also dont see the need for a display on a battery ,just something extra that can break.

May 17, 20224 yr The whole case shape looks like a Hubble including the vent holes at the bottom. Different paint job and a display and higher capacity than the Hubble. Do they provide any more technical specs, i.e. chemistry? Would like to see the datasheet Edited May 17, 20224 yr by zsde

This is the specs i could find on batteryfix's website. May 17, 20224 yr Also consider after sales support, and a range of compatiable batteries? Sooner or later you are going to want to add capacity and will need to buy more of them, if they are no longer in the market or even if they are, will future models be compatiable? This is always a potential problem, but I expect that the larger manufacturers / suppliers are able to consider this with their products and ranges and also test them to ensure backward compatiability at least within reason? for example one can use the pylontech Us2000/US3000/US5000 together from what I understand provided the newest battery is the master? And compatiability info is available. Also potentially parts, like replacement / compatiable BMS units, as these too can sometimes fail. Here pylontech seems to have a large global & local market share and so one would hope to find parts and services to repair without too much difficulty. Also Hubble, BSL BuLL seem to e quite popular, as many folks are looking for a 1c spec battery, and not .5c? The concern is that most battery warrarties offered will possibly outlive the manufacturer / Supplier, so this also something to weight up? Good luck with your choice.

Do not waste your hard earned cash on unknown stuff unless you are looking to be a pioneer 😁
May 18, 20224 yr Author I'm back. Was away for 2 days and the cellphone screen does not work for me. Thanks for all the help. Could not find much info either. Still looks the Pylontech eventually. But now I see we get a UP5000 and a US5000. Looks the same......
May 20, 20224 yr The US5000 seems to be a higher spec, for charge and discharge rate, as well as expected lifespan, and higher cycles. Only problem is they dont seem to be available in za just yet? Edited May 20, 20224 yr by Arandoza
