  • Hello, I'm calling from Italy, I have a problem with the storage batteries. I have a growatt sfh 5000 inverter and CFE 5100 batteries. The batteries cannot hold the voltage and therefore shut down.

  • hehe me too - i've even offered to re-translate everything for them

  • Its not our inverters. Its the CFE Batteries. How is it possible that we all have the same problem with CFE Batteries but different inveters.

I finally found the answer to where to find the APK in this thread, thank you so much. I am unable to pick up the wifi name from the manual when pushing the reset button for 7 seconds. Anyone else have this issue as well?

I was at CNBM solar yesterday to help me with my battery wifi. The updated the firmware on my battery but the main problem was the app on the website does not work. They gave me the correct app. Mine is working fine .  The process in the manuel to connect phone to battery also not correct. Please contact Owen, Leon or Ryan and ask them to add you to the CFE Support group on Whatsapp. You can ask questions on the group to assist you with anything.

Thank you for this information Ferdie, does anybody know what cable to use to connect A cfe 5,1 kw battery to a Growatt spf500tl inverter?

Any help appreciated

Hi All,

I am also stuck with this.
Owen's number goes straight to voice mail. I guess if everyone who has this issue calls him, I would not blame him for burning that SIM card!

Could anybody who has had success with this just shortly describe the process? That would be very kind and be helpful.

f you don't get hold of Owen Whatsapp Adeline on +86 183 0301 4060. She is in China.

i think the closed for the holidays.

Mine also stopped communicating. I am reading my battery condition from my inverter.

I will also contact him next year.

Please contact Adeline from CNBM directly on +86 183 0301 4060

@Ferdie K - Are you using these batteries with a Voltronic Inverter ? If so, did you manage to get them communicating with the inverter without issues (ie. communicating works but then Warning 60 at random times, this then prompts a low bus voltage error) - running the batteries without the communication cable connected with user defined parameters and no issues

Hi, for those who have CFE 5100 batteries with a Deye/Sunsynk inverter, do your batteries charge to 100%, then forces the inverter to use battery instead of solar and then drop to +-95% before charging again and using solar again? My inverter is set to use the BMS and not voltages, but you can set the voltages in the background and they are set as follows:

Battery float chargee: 53.6 V

Battery absorption charge: 55.6 V

Battery equalization charge: 55.6 V

Is this normal? If not, what can I adjust to prevent this behaviour

Hi,

I am using 8KW SunSynk inverter with 2x CFE 5100s batteries (no solar pannels connected yet), the batteries charge to 100%, then the inverter uses the grid & discharges the bateries to +-90%, then charges to 100% and so it goes on, I dont think that this is normal and also trying to figure out what to do to fix it.

Hi @Paul.Ve, spot on what I'm experiencing. I've read some other forum that stated the BMS is what guides the inverter on what and how to handle the battery. So not really sure if there is a solution to be honest.

If you want to use the user defined option - the Dip switches need to be setup to default ie.

SW 1 (1 & 2 up)

SW 4 (CANL) 5 up

SW 5 (CANH) 4 up

Bulk Charge 53.8V

Float Charge 53.6V

Equalization 53.8V

Cut off Voltage: 48V

PS: ONLY change dip switches when batteries are off.

This is what CFE gave to me - cos the BMS communication is erratic on Voltronic Inverters.

Let me try these voltage numbers. Thanks
