SOH is a bit concerning, it is basically the amount of charge the battery will take to reach 100% SOC as compared to the rated capacity. Lower SOH means it charges/discharges faster. This does seem to match what you are seeing when discharging and only getting about half the capacity and when charging it jumps from 48% to 100% so it is missing 50% of the charge time. I'm not sure if this jump is because of the actual cells being bad or some software miscalculation.

As @WannabeSolarSparkysays, see what the cells are doing at 100% SOC and if they are balanced and you might also need to watch the cells when discharging to see if any are dropping a lot faster than the others, that would indicate a bad cell(s). If there are no obvious bad cells then you might need to take the battery in anyway for a proper re-calibration by hubble.

Thanks, this is now fully charged, will monitor the discharge. 

Will do a couple of cycles, if not working I will send it in.

Good idea. I see the SOH has increased hopefully it increases with each cycle. If the SOC and SOH values are feeding in to one another it could take a bit of time for it to sort itself out.

Battery charge normal until 48% then jumps to 100% (53.6v) and don't take any charge. 

Plugged CAN in, battery discharge 2.6kw soh=20% volts 48.8V

I had a similar issue on a different battery brand (behavior of the battery was very similar to yours). Ended up being a damaged BMS, battery was replaced under warranty.

Just like a previous screen shot cell 7 and 8 are a lot lower than others. Perhaps you have done enough to warrant Hubble to get to the party. 0.16V difference is too high for a single cell. It might need a 12hrs balancing.

Yeah, I think that's it unfortunately, maybe cell 1 also. At least you have the evidence to present to hubble to get it sorted.

Just an update with my experience. Took the battery in to Hubble, spoke to Shaun, very helpful. He said he will look at it same day, send in to Cape town for cell replacements and should be back in the week and I will get a sms at every step of the process. 

Haven`t received any messages so assume they haven`t started yet. Tried phoning them but is number one in line for about 20min before I gave up.

Sorry to say, but wont recommend Hubble to anyone.

I've seen a number of threads with problems with their batteries that end up with a lot of time spent by the customer and the pain of needing to return the product for "testing" repair, etc.  I need to buy a system for my parents and leaning toward Pylontech for that reason.

Don`t think you can go wrong with Pylontech. Hubble is just costing me money, I had to go sit in a PUB just to watch the Grand Prix 😂

Got hold of the manager at Hubble, the guy that needs to send the battery to Cape Town is in hospital, as soon as he is back they will work on it. At this stage I wont even buy Hubble if it is on 50% discount.

Looks like this Battery does not used LiFePO4 cells ( cell voltages around 4.1V ) . Looking at their website some products they specify that battery cells are LiFepo4 whilst others are just specified as Lithium Ion . Can anyone confirm which batteries are not LifePo4 ?

Am2 is NMC while the newer Am5 is LiFePO4

The new AM-2 Revision 2 is still NMC as far as I can make out, albeit at 116A/h now.
Do you perhaps have more detailed info on that?

I do not unfortunately... i am running Dyness myself. Just know what i know from this and other forums
