October 25, 20232 yr OK, understand but i have done upgrade exactly as described in pdf, i see that on display before updates was cpu1 350 cpu2 350, after first update i saw cpu1 470 cpu2 260, after second update(downgrade) i see cpu1 372 cpu2 370. Solar power shows the same values in device information section. In my opinion both version should have the same version, like it was before upgrading.
October 25, 20232 yr Yes, you are right - both CPU's seem to have firmware flashed. Just checked my 20200402 inverter and it shows 470/260 as well. Do you have a debug log from SolarPower from before the upgrades? Just to be sure to have the "real" serial#, there are lot's of fake clones arround. Everything sounds pretty strange... Can you post a photo of the type shield?
October 25, 20232 yr I think we have real serial, on both inverters serial on solarpower and sticker are the same, wifi showed correct serial and was corect communication with power-datacenter.com, there was corect serial number also
October 25, 20232 yr I'm not sure but there is huge possibility that inwerters came from orvaldi company. http://www.orvaldi.pl/product/228/category/80
October 25, 20232 yr Looks ok, seem to be a original Infini 10k. Did you powercycle (give it 5mins off) it after downgrade? If there are still errors downgrade to version from before (2016).
October 25, 20232 yr Yes, it was turned off 15mins, I dont have firmware earlier than this from you Infini10KWParallel20160922P, should upload it?
October 25, 20232 yr Thanks, im uploading. I m not sure if this is important but my inwerter working in grit tie mode, with no battery, I cant arrange situation according to upgrade manual to maki him in bypass mode, i can onlu press on buton then bulb glows on display in lower right corner of LCD display with no connection to AC.
October 25, 20232 yr OK, downgraded, got cpu1 350 and cpu2 350, inverter remebers stored settings but still, SN is 000000000000 tried to update via rs232 and USB, program says succesful, but not, serial is 00000000000. One thing before all updating bottom line LCD with version was 000100, after first upgrade changed to 000111, and no further change, after each downgrade it was 000111 and now is.
October 26, 20232 yr I just checked that bitmask at the bottom, was not aware of it at all. As far as I see, it's related to the operating mode of the inverter (hybrid, grid-tie, off-grid,...). So if you configure your inverter with same settings as it was before, it should come back with 000100 (grid tie). Just tried this on a spare 10k inverter and it changed from 011101 (Grid-Tie-with-Backup II) to 000100 (grid-tie). BTW: I remember, I had a inverter without serial as well. As it was working fine, I didn't waste time to fix that.
October 26, 20232 yr Hello, thanks for the information. Inwerter is working, no errors but because lack of sn i have lost communication by wifi to power-datacenter.com. I will reconfigure it again and check that bitmask. Do you have any ideas how to put original sn to the inwerter (maybye i should enter it in hex, or enter inverter in special mode).
October 26, 20232 yr I wanted to upgrade firmware because i want to use LI-Ion batteries with bms , so after all i'm assuming that my device is so old and i have no chance to upgrade it
October 26, 20232 yr Well, maybe you can't jump directly to latest FW from your old 2016 firmware. As you are experienced enough in fw up/downgrade now 😄, you could try to upgrade first to 20170320. Set up everything with SolarPower again and check if it's working. If ok, you can upgrade to 2020-04-02 firmware, that includes BMS support. I have an older non-parallel 10k (build 2015) that speaks to my BMS, running a fw from 2018.
October 26, 20232 yr Hi, as you said changing mode is changing bitmask, but i can't get the same what i had before. I have made settings as this from firmware upgrade manual with bypass mode turned on, ant then i will upload 2017 firmware.

Maybe just accurate percentage charge displayed on the inverter?
October 26, 20232 yr Hello, with firmware 2017 production works, not storing settings, still no serial. Then I have uploaded 2020, production not works, not storing settings, still no serial.
October 26, 20232 yr Hi user27, thank you for information, i'm assuming that you control charging process by the voltage, i know that solution
October 26, 20232 yr 37 minutes ago, rafa.moko said: last one i think 1.18sp6 This should be ok. You can also try 1.16SP6 where I have good experience with this fw versions. But I guess you have again ERROR 17 or 18 when running 20170302 fw (see debug log, USB-SEC-CFS). This will not let you store anything. Imho device is not fully up anyway (fw mismatch between master and slave cpu). So I'm afraid you have to stuck with 20160922 fw. Regarding serial I found this: So you could give that command a try via RS232 port and the communication tool from SolarPower plugins directory: Edited October 26, 20232 yr by riogrande75
October 26, 20232 yr Yes you right on 2017 got these errors, no on the 2020, i'm sending debug file from today. I can stay with no saving, but why is not starting production, inverter see strings and voltage on them (630V) and from time to time shows power on strings ( also the same on Solarower) but won't start production. 2023-10-26.log
October 26, 20232 yr Try to set it up as "GridTieWithBackupII" and Standard VDE4105. Choose "Restore to the defaults". Wait for 5 minutes. Does it change anything? Pls. post a pic of the display together with the logs from solarpower.
