Sunsynk- Solarman app updating data slowly

Featured Replies

What is the normal update speed of your Real Time data in the Solarman app ?

We see the inverter information but the data is between 4 and 8 minutes delayed. Is this normal ?

Is it slow perhaps due to not-optimum wifi access ?

We are using the Solarman app on iPhone.

Nope, you're seeing exactly what it does... I wouldn't call it realtime...  and if your internet goes down for an hour or two, the data for that period goes to the bit bucket...

Thanks KM. That is a little disappointing- the Goodwes are much closer to real time. I was suspecting that it was the poor wifi  signal !

After you mentioned that if the internet is down then that period is missing, I checked and the "Real Time" data is all there. So I think the internet connection is satisfactory 😀

The "realtime" data (snapshot) is lost, however the cumulative stats are still there.

Here in the sticks, the internet can disappear for hours at times and yes, it puts in some data for the missing period, but it hardly is legit cumulative stats, from what I can tell and certainly calling the data "realtime" is a good joke, but getting somewhat stale by now... it would be more reasonable if it took data at a rate of, let's say 30 second intervals, but even that, I would hesitate to call "realtime"... I hope to turf that interface in the not too distant future and keep my own database, locally instead...

My WiFi is good but app tells me offline most of the time, and then connects randomly so very often my data is 4 hours old, which is useless! Any suggestions
