Jip, and some of them don't even know the specs of the stuff. I had 2 week long straggle with ACDC where i was looking for info of a 6kw inverter that they where selling. 3 sales guys, 2 tech guys, 3 solar guys, warehouse guy and the manager and still no info till date and no call back or specs of the unit. Called there head office and the guy told me his not going go look for the unit because his not lis for it. I founded the info my self later by finding a old online book of ACDC of the specs of the unit. I actually have imported some electrical stuff to and where happy with it.

@Gerrie what was the price that you payed for them. I spotted some of there stuff in photos of installers overseas and local. On ACDC stuff, there stuff is made in house local and not really good product, well some of them, and there service and after service don't really good to.

Hi guys, I'm looking for RS-232 to Ethernet converter, if possible in Cape town side. I need to test something before buying one. It's for my inverter and the normal RS-232 to usb isn't connecting to it. The one MLT sold for the MLT powerstar years ago was a Connect-One IL-2128-232 Sucure iLAN but they don't sell it anymore, it's been replace by a Pi2 with software they call the BRIDGE. I first want to check if i can connect with a RS-232 to Ethernet with the MLT Coms v1.52 SCADA Software. If someone maybe have one that I can borrow for a day or two, that will help Thanks Something like this:

Great to know that @LivSol. Quick question, how do you connect the powerstar unit to a computer by using the DE9 RS232 plug on the side of the unit. I did try to use a RS232 to USB with the MLT software but no luck.

@20VT Another place you can try maybe and they local is MD solar. Revol batteries used there BMS before they got there own. I spotted on one of the local installers post and ask the local cape town sell agent and he told me they used the MD ones before and then change over to there own one now. Here you can spot the MD one in this photo

@Solaris What was the price Microcare charge you to change the settings and who did you use to courier your MPPT to them. I got one 60 amp MPPT that i need to send of to them to replace the main board in the unit and was think that they must do the update to on this unit.

@Jean-Claude Malengret Nice to see that someone of MLT is on the forum to now. I actually comment on your FB post I own a MLT powerstar 8.0H. I think we 2 persons on the forum that owns MLT's and i can only talk good things about by MLT. Keep us posted an any progress with NSR097 drafts. I will definitely drop you a PM to find out some more info on using and settings for my MLT unit.

that some hard work and dedication there with all that soldering work. Do you maybe have a lick for the small fuses, i did a search but cant seem to find them.

@Mad Mike nice work there. Can you take some close photos how you solder the batteries together and the fuses, and the BMS that you are using. What was the price on the old battery packs?

And that's why i will not support them because you don't get backup for this sort of stuff. Burned my fingers with a clone inverter so I rather support something with n brand name with a backup.
